Can't skip around in certain movies..

With certain WMVs, I can't skip around the film, the only option is that it will let me play through it all the way through, trying to move the bar will just put it back at where it's currently playing and pausing it will stop it. Is there a way to fix this?

You don't have all the files associated with the WMV. Try acquiring *all* the files. Oddly enough, you say it plays all the way through? Do they end *before* they should? In that case, your download didn't go all the way through; re-download. A pain in the ass, granted, but it's either that or be stuck with waiting for the portion you want...

Had the same problem with a bunch of Stileproject pornos... just deleted and re-downloaded, this time doing just a few at a time, and they worked fine after that point...

You could try with Videolan player (aka VLC), a player which works with his own set of codecs: good solution when everything else fails.
