Not to be picky, but wouldn't it be better to remove target Jedi with less than X toughness from the game? I would set the bar high, sure, but not unblockable. Just a thought.
And I would make it cost more than 2. That's a bit inexpensive for the pay-off.

Like fuck it is. For 2 colorless and a black you can bury any creature and have it not be able to regenerate. For one white you can remove any creature from the game as an instant and/but the owner gains life equal to its power.

This is two black and can only effect a limited group of creatures and only during your main phase. Its by no mean outragous. About the only questionable thing about it is making it a common instead of uncommon.

My sister and I have been playing with different MTG editor programs, so lets show some of our attempts. My cards us a tardis as the expansion icon, while she uses the words DW as hers.

Image

Edit - the Doctor's ability to take creatures from your hand or library reflects his ability to time travel and arrive at the proper place. There is an green card, with a similar ability - Elvish piper or something. The ability to bring a creature from the graveyard reflects his theoretical ability to alter history, and bring back the dead. We know from Doctor Who it is possible to alter history, but the Time Lords forbid it (except when they hypocritically do it), hence paying 2 life reflects this limitation.

The Doctor's ability to regenerate reflects the innate power of all Time Lords to regenerate.

The ability to bring the Doctor back from the dead reflects the ability to change history in Doctor Who, albeit with difficulty.

Image

Quite humourous, in the vein of the unglued cards.

Image

Edit : The Master's 2 UU ability reflects his powers to take command of creatures. Ok he can't affect computers, but I forgot that part, so I will just put it off as the Master reprograms them. This seems to be the same power as the control creature card.

Otherwise he has the same Time Lord abilities as the Doctor.

Image

Edit - The sonic screwdriver with its ability to unlock doors is reflected in the unblockable ability it grants to creatures.

Its ability to melt metal is reflected in the ability to do direct damage

Its ability to repair and fix things is reflected in its ability to destroy artifacts and regenerate artifact creatures.

We have done a few more, and I will directly link it or post a link to where I host the images later.

Criticisms appreciated.

"less than 3 Toughness" if you are using standard MtG rules. He should probably cost a mite more to, given his power - if you want it to be a "serious" card, that is. ;)

You could include a scaling rule of some kind; or simply introduce a broad classification or special rule "spacecraft" which states "spacecraft may only block or be blocked by other spacecraft" or somesuch to show they operate in a distinct arena.

That is what the insignificance rule was for. To allow normal people in the Sci-fi set but also allow the sci-fi set to work with real magic sets.

If spaceships had the special rule the set would de-balance because they are in the far majority.

Insignificance (Creatures with insignificance can not deal combat damage to creatures with out insignificance and are destroyed automatically if such a combat takes place.)

I made a few cards that remove this for a turn the idea being that they get on to the ship some how and kill the crew or wreck important parts. Lambda class shuttle for example.

Yes, yes it is, unless the Hapans have been sharing hull designs with the Interstellar Alliance.

@CaptainChewbacca: You might want to make more of the Bluehand's mana uncolored, as any spell requiring more than four of any one color is basically unheard of.

The link you posted seems to be an RPG. They basically just ripped the Excalibur design so their players don't just have Novas or Dragons.

Any way I changed the design slightly. I wanted a 3rd capital ship so i dont mind it not being real.

I took the Nova flipped the pylons and made the "head" smaller.

Some Asgard ships.

Also Goa'uld.

And some which falls in to the other category.

Is it suppose to be a Nova-class Battle Cruiser? If so just remove the Top 'wings.'

Let me explain I found a fan site (RPG thing) which listed a number of Hapan ships including a “Hapes Pulsar Battle Cruiser” I not knowing if it was real or not just posted it as a ship. People hear then told me that the ships picture was from Crusader (B5verse).

I liking the description of the ship given and the name but wanting to avoid confusion should B5 ships be made, edited a Nova class’s picture to make a new ship class for the Pulsar. I put on some extra pylons and made the head smaller to indicate a larger ship.

Also when editing in the set symbol the order of the cards changed so when people were saying the one on the far left they are no longer talking about the one on the far left but rather the middle.

This is the site were i read it. http://www.hapes.org/gov_ship.php?id=78
