The NEC 3540A from newegg.
I've used NEC burners in several builds I've done and had no complaints.
My personal machine has a 3520A in it with the latest Liggy & Dee modified firmware

"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier

Re: DVD/CD Combo burners
Most decent internal burners will go for $150.00, depending on where you shop. Especially on a site like Newegg or TigerDirect.com. In fact most of their selection, except the really really high end ones, are under $100.00FSTargetDrone wrote:Any advice for a quality DVD/CD burner, say under $150 US?
Edit: that should read -under- $150. *grumble*

The Plextor PX-716A (probably the best of the DVD burners) goes for around $110 from reputable dealersManus Celer Dei wrote: I got mine for £30 (That's what, $50?). It's a Lite-On somethingorother, and it's behaved perfectly fine and can do everything I need it to.
