You forget, that the AT-AT is not the heaviest/largest walker in the Imperial Arsenal.

Buh! Walkers are silly when you try to make them 'Practicle' The more realistic you try and make them, the more silly they are, thats why Anime mechs are so much fun, cause they are rarely taken seriously.

Does anyone have a side-view of the TX-130 fighter tank? It's one of few things I haven't found out of all the pictured Republic/Imperial ground craft.

EDIT: Ah, Hell, I'll just show what I got right now! >D

I don't think that fan-made SPHAT is even close to accurate. Either way, it blows ass.

Isn't there a decent enough side image in the AotC ITW?

Seeing that AAT got me thinking, in the ITW:OT book, on the map of Mos Eisley, there was a mention of an Imperial Attack Tank (or Assault Tank, can't remember) clearing out debris from a burnt building.

Now, as I understand it, the AAT was going to be on the Imperial side, as well as the Confederate in the first Battlefront game, but was cut out. The code was still accessible and could be restored though.

Since the book and the game was made to coincide with the release of the OT on DVD, there could have been some cross-references here.

I want to check with people who own the book: is this "IAT" on the Mos Eisley pic, an AAT converted to Imperial use? Or is it too small to decide?

Nope. It looks more like a standard Imperial repulsortank with desert coloring and a scoop attached to its front (don't have a scanner, sorry).
Here's the typical models of Imperial repulsortanks:

Heavy

Ah, those guys. Well, nice to know they haven't been forgotten over the years. :P

Either way, I'll try to get a similar collage of Separatist vehicles going one day.

It's from SW Empire issues 16-18 and 29. Basically a cargo walker based on the AT-TE chassis. They call it AT-TE in one of the issues, so I just extrapolated the /c part from previous naming convention. But that part's fanon, so don't treat it as anything official.

The OS. I basically messed around with the side-ways concept art on the Behind the Scenes-section of its profile. Couldn't get any decent views otherwise. =/
So, take that in mind, the thing is probably a bit different than the finished version (And what is it with these concept artists and short walker-legs? I saw the same dumb shit with the early AT-TE concept art, it looked like it was deformed! XD)

Clear enough now, then? :P

I must admit the AT-XT's a pretty cool walker. Since it's described as an "experimental design" and was "not mass-produced" and yet we see it in many sources, does this mean "not mass-produced" in the SW galaxy translates to "only used in a few hundred systems"? :P
