Woo! Finally reached Lvl 2 and took axe proficiency. Now hopefully it'll be that much easier to kill zombies with my trusty axe.

In a lightly barricaded building this time. I got the pistol proficiency trait rather than free running, so I can only go into barricaded buildings, not strongly barricaded buildings. Hopefully I don't eat brain soon.

Found a shotgun, but put all my skills into pistol. Will be getting free running next, then advanced pistol.

If you want to level up while shooting, Pistol is the way to go, easiest to find and use except the Axe.

I can't over-estimate how usful Free Running is, every neighborhood nowdays is extreamly heavily barricaded and any importent building is doubly so. Its also usful for running, stuck with a zombie in the room and a horde outside? skip out to a building, they can't follow.

Survived the day wait. 17 AP later, I have a shotgun with a single shell. Fucking search probabilities. Level 15 and Level 8 Civvie and Scientist are there, so I feel safe, but at least two pistol clips for me to roll out and I'd feel even safer than sitting in a building looting.

If Tollyton meet is still underway, be advised I will likely take frigging forever to even leave safehouse. Hillarious, as I proposed it, no? Recommend we take a "Terror Cell" approach with the SDNSAG, and a North/West Cell be created if others are unable to rally to the Tollyton Cell.

Right, so, I've got a level 2 fireman, a level 1 zombie, and a level 1 private. The private is up in Pimbank so the Tollyton thing's not too much of a stretch for me. I'd link him up with the Irregulars but I'd like to just try to avoid any chances of them deleting my characters. Sooo...I'll have him make his way down to Tollyton tomorrow once he's recharged and try to find some of you guys.

Oh, and my zombie character ran into sketerpot up in Dulston this morning. I spared him, though I can't speak for my brothers in armlessness.

Same name- "sketerpot"? I didn't see him on my frantic 1st turn dash for safety, but we might cross paths.

If a Pistol Ninja with a Roman name jumps you, fire wildly, and then hightails it you've likely been Ducked. Probably low chance of that, though. I wouldn't pursue, considering the "safety in numbers to take casualties for me" philosophy of hiding I have going.

Yeah, same name. Capitalization was identical and everything. I'd spent most of my first day hammering down the barricades to the building he and some other folks were hiding in, then came back and a couple other zombies had finished the job and opened the doors. So, I went in, got some free hits, and left.

Sweet, I just bagged my first Zombie. Never mind that I blew two days' worth of ammunition on it, but I got away scot-free and sixty experience the wiser. Now, to make like a rat for the next week...

What's the outlook for Shore Hills, by the way? Things seem to be relatively quiet, but that might not nessecarily be a good thing...

Zombie Tracker reset all week-old reports 3 hours ago. Northwest Shore Hills had 40-49 zombies 141 hours ago, but that's of course not any use. Doubtful there's a major presence since the majority is far north.

Besides a streak in the middle and red zones such as Shearville, Dentonside, Lamport Hills, and Whittenside, there's a total info blackout. Anyone capable of scouting a neighborhood quadrant should see if they can spare the AP to look around.

55 percent pistols is probably the greatest thing ever for zombie killers. Pistols and ammo are easilly acquired, and do good damage. Shotguns seem to be better, but the reloading + finding ammo takes far more time. Thus, they're not really worth it to rely on as a primary weapon.

Woot, in 35 AP I just found 5 Shotgun Shells, a Pistol, and two Pistol Clips. Almost ready to leave now, I just want another Pistol Clip or two and whatever I find by then.

I have joined as the lvl 1 Private SyntaxVorlon currently residing in Kempsterbank at the Norwood building. Any suggestions, neighborhoods to go to for a plucky new survivor?

Kempsterbank is quite quiet. Two west of you is a bar with shotguns* and beer inside, and five south, one west or four southeast are a poilce stations.

Good luck, loot lots of ammo and guns and then try to school a solitary noob zombie and run like hell. Repeat as needed until you level and start being able to fight things.

*I don't know if they're loaded. The police station ones aren't, but I have a shitload of shotgun shells from just a little searching so if you can spare a day or two to sit in either a bar or PD you can imitate me for ammunition.

I just got re-vivified. Should I decide not to let myself get killed what sort of skill set should I go for? I was almost at level 1 when It happened so I should be able to get 1 of the base skills pretty quickly, assuming I can get ahold of something useful with a little searching.

The problem is that multiple weapons limit your ability to carry other items, unless your a fighter only.

Every weapon apprently takes 2 slots(out of max 50,51, not sure), thats alot less room for FAKs(anti infection), syringes(if needed), GPS units and all that.

Killed another zombie today, and got free running. Made it back to the PD with 0 AP left. Not going to risk that again, I'll always be back with 10 to spare and just use the remainder for searching.

Going to spend another 50 AP tomorrow searching for pistol ammunition, then kill another zombe the next day and get advanced pistol training. Any suggestions where I go from there.

At level three now. Eventually, I intend to get so good that I can kill a zombie a day rather than spend a whole day looking for ammunition.

Get advance pistol, Free running, also if you want to level up faster, get basic Necro skills(extractor operation) get an Extractor and before hitting zombies extract them...thats 4-6XP for 1-2AP garunteed.

Also, construction is a damned good skill.

Woot, I take back whatever I said about UD's random number generator. I now have 4 loaded pistols with three extra clips, two loaded shotguns with 5 shells, and the omnipresent flak jacket. Time to ninja a zombie and run like hell after I regen my AP.

Tell me, if I want to fire those shotguns or pistols Chow Yun Fat style, without reloading till they're all out, do I have to drop each one after it's done? That seems wasteful.

I'm hiding out in a police station with a few other guys, as Private Vincenzo Gambone. I'm in Gambetcon or whatever it's called. I ran into a zombie, emptied a clip at it, hit it once, ran away, found a fireaxe and another clip, and now I'm waiting for my points to recharge.

Now how do people coordinate so well?
