I was told to buy virtual pc and install win 98, but I don't fucking have it, and i don't know where to find it.Luzifer's right hand wrote:I have tried in vain to play the game on XP myself.
Could it be made to run on linux? I was planning to build a new pc with linspire inside..

It's a native Win95/98 game according to the developer, and it won't run on anything else, so you're screwed.Could it be made to run on linux? I was planning to build a new pc with linspire inside..
Your best option would be to install Win98 on that new computer, or to get VirtualPC/VMWare (I prefer the latter) and make a virtual Win98 PC.

And yes, it can handle virtually every PC operating system (DOS in most flavours, all Windows up to XP/2003, Linux)
You'll need the original 98 CD, though.
