When making a link, I know the <A HREF=">site</A> code. What I don't know is how to get it so the site will open in a new browser window. Anyone know?

You should use "_blank". "_new" will create a new window called "_new", and any subsequent links pointing to "_new" will re-use the same window (which may be what you want, for some circumstances). Whereas "_blank" will always create a new window.
The spec is
