SW Newpaper Comic Strip
Gents;
Do any of you have a picture from the Star Wars newspaper comic strip where C-3P0 and R2-D2 are floating in space, and 3P0 comments he can't hear what R2 may be saying because sound doesn't travel in a vacuum?

Aren't these the ones that are available to any Hyperspace member? I'm sure we have at least one around here somewhere.

I could check, but I'd still need the name of the series. Besides, it's possible that it could be one of the ones not online yet.Alan Bolte wrote:Aren't these the ones that are available to any Hyperspace member? I'm sure we have at least one around here somewhere.

I'm almost certain it was very early in the serires. I have a Hyp account; I'll have to spend a weekend looking.
BTW, I wonder why Russ Manning chose to draw the SW comics the way he did? Very cartoony. He was my favorite Spiderman artist in the 70's, because of how "real" he made Spidey look, and the incredible cityscapes he drew. I remember one comic where Spiderman was in France, looking for Cyclone, and the detail was incredible.
