The feared Purple Race V1.221, so powerful and awesome they can be ridiculously inefficient with their kicks and still almost challenge the Master Race. Scratch that actually. As my "Purple For Teh Win!" picture shows, the Purple Race are obviously very superior.

Red Menace. The Ninja are only special in that they have had only at most a few generations of evolution and are thus almost completely Intelligently Designed.

And they get raped easily by evolved species. The Cosmic Darwin has a sense of humor.

ZOMG, despite their MR heritage RM3.5 is still lagging behind CN1.5. The CNs have already consumed most of their food and are radiating out while the RMs are still taking it slow and staying mostly at their circle. They're both red though so they might start making really ugly babies soon. :D

Alot can change in like 2 minutes :D. The CNs are dying en-masse because they move so poorly and after running out of circle food they couldn't properly make it to new food sources. XD.

The Green Menace even have the same defective Limb Number that makes them occaisionally mutate into 2-legged freaks for offspring. I've seen it in the matches.

By the way, LordShaithis, you should see about fixing that. The slider is all the way over in the splicing menu but text-editing could make it less likely. The Master Race is often slowed in the beginning, as if even 1 of the 10 beginners mutates that's 10% of prospective offspring crippled and unable to survive. I could see what happens when the first number is set to zero (which I believe would be "First Gene, Monimum Setting") but I'm a lazy bastard.

Well Christmas Ninjas were utterly butchered. I took one of the RMs from the end and called it 3.6. I'll put 5 of 3.5 and 5 of 3.6 together in one circle and 10 purples in the other and see who wins :D.

Okay, I just discussed this with my roommate, and he claims that these are a mutation from his own stock. He even has another witness to this. Maybe they weren't paying attention and it came from the very Master Race he was setting his original race to defeat though. That seems a bit more likely than the numbers working out the same.

And here I thought I had a winner. :?

Dude, making fun of the crippled isn't funny. :)

And they look like little Doctor Octopusses and move like spiders hanging on a web. How can that not be perfection?

As far as the Master Race, I think I know what happened. He probably had another snake-like creature. Let's call it Green Menace. If Master Race were to have a mutation (likely with its very un-artificial color gene (Shaithis, you could also screw with that to see if you could raise its breeding rate by making it less close to the other color's numbers...) ) that made it look green, then nobody would notice when the real Green Menace died long ago.

[You'll notice that Christmas Ninja, with its perfect extreme ("0" and "1") color genes, will usually only mutate to a slightly different type or at worst Orange-Blue because mutation takes a while to scrwe with its perfected genenumbers.]

Or Jogurt's roommate lies. Whatever.

However, you'll note that Green Menace has 0.52-whatever, meaning that it's not likely it was set by slider. Even if Jogurt's Roommate changed the genes to make it Green, he still shouldn't have a number that isn't a Y=X/6 where X is the color (1=Red, 2=Orange, etc.).
It's likely then the Master Race either interbred with or mutated to coincidentally the same number as Jogurt's Species, wiped it out, and then was mistaken for it.

Looks another victory for RM. The Mix of 3.5 and 3.6 which I'm gonna call 3.7 is so far owning purple. At the start purple bred like mormon rabbits and RM crept upward ever so slow. At about 500 or so purple took a nose dive because it'd finished all its food and by 12150 or so red had passed it. They both started climing again once some purple got over to where red's last bit of circle food was but it wasn't enough to push purple above red because they already had too big an advantage at that point. Though it did act as an impetus for a mass extinction. I think nows the time to end the game, save 3.7 and give it a new challenger.

Do it against the MR. Master Race must die sooner or later... if we accept the tenths place as where the real differences in species are, there's 10^32 combinations! (Though probably 10^28 of them are retarded swimmers.)

If I could somehow slow Purple's Breeding rate... perhaps textedit/sabotage their genes to make them be on the border of Purple/Blue and Pure color/Two Colors, so that they easily split into many subspecies that refuse to breed?

The fact that there remained a purebred-to-the-millionths specimen of the Master Race 15 minutes into the game makes me think that the MR really is perfect...

I'd guess that it's far more than that. Those numbers indicate that only a fraction of a percent of them are incapable as swimmers, but my experience has shown that the opposite is true.

I don't want to do MR just yet. Part of their lineage is MR and I want to let them diverge some more before I put them up against each other again.

Yes, but we're talking about The Master Race here. Even the Christmas Ninja and Purple V1.221, who can beat the Swastikas and most pools during the times when they are partly formed (several species stage), can't even leave their own food pool before Master Race invaders blitz them.

Well, the newest version of the Underdogs can beat the purple race. But during that, something interesting happened.

Even during the beginning, the Underdogs had split of into two subspecies. The red and the purple. These stayed around till the very end. I know the ones at the end were mine, because they moved in the exact same way.

So I decided to do a experiment. I did another Double Garden of Eden and set the MR and the Purple Underdogs. Almost immediately, the Underdogs split of into two subspecies, purple and red. This was going to screw me over, so I ended right there.

I'm thinking that MRDOD is right. Like LordShaithis, I artificially changed the Underdogs colour to pure red to make it easier to do competitions. This must of introduced an instability.

To fix this, I have set up another Double Garden of Eden with the newest version of the Underdogs, and the original version which had almost every colour under the rainbow.

Since the newest version of the Underdogs are atracted to red, and the orginal does have some red in it, I'm hoping they will breed and introduce some stability.

I just geneered something and put it up against RM3.7. I don't know what to call it just yet but it's vaguely similar to purple. Depending on how well it does I might hold on to it.

It looked cool but swam like crap so I saved it for shits and giggles. Any way, I've decided to create a hybrid MR/RM3.5/RM3.7 so I put 1 of each in a food rich map and I'm letting it run for a while. Maybe even over night. Whom-so-ever is left when I get around to checking on it should be pretty decent. Maybe even better than stock MR.

On the one hand, I haven't found anything new that can stand up against the MR; on the other hand, I've found an improved version of the MR.

It has two movement stats altered and it's won three out of three matches against the vanilla MR.

I started a new pond, and immediately spotted the "purple demon", a one-legged creature that swims really fast, yet seems retarded when it comes to eating. I put them in a colors pond and zapped quite a few of them. Hopefully I'll get something that still swims fast, yet can eat.

BTW, about 5 seconds after starting the pond, the unzapped purple demons spread out to cover the entire pond. freakishly fast I say...
