Game in good value shocker - Civ 4 £17.99!

Post by Ubiquitous »

Play.com are listing Civ 4 as £17.99 with free delivery. I don't know about you guys but to me that says one thing: bargain.

Clicky.

28/10/2005, There's a 28th month? What kind of crazy calendars do you people use over there?

Some countries, unlike America, reverse the Day and Month.

You honestly didn't know that some of the western world uses that calender?

You must be a n00b to the internet in that case!

It makes more sense to have it dd/mm/yy, surely? I've never got why the US does it month first.

On topic, I have vowed that I shall not get Civ 4, lest it destroy me.
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

What, America gets it earlier than us?!

Oh man ... that week is going to be torture, especially if they don't release a demo [sure they won't].

What would really make sense would be yy/mm/dd, but that sounds weird.

And I didn't realise Civ IV was that close. It looks beautiful, and I really do not have the time. :(

And I'm going to get it anyway (Well, after I've got a new computer. And several other games that I'm waiting to be able to play. And maybe a house. But yeah, I'm gonna get it.)
My wife went to Vorbarr Sultana and all I got was this bloody shopping bag.
