"Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot; or he can, but does not want to. ... If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is wicked. ... If, as they say, God can abolish evil, and God really wants to do it, why is there evil in the world?" -Epicurus

Watch out with that, though, he completely flat out LIES about some of the biblical stuff in it. Seriously, like he says that Paul didn't think Jesus was real, and quotes a passage. Look up that passage and the context is totally different, like the way he uses it, it's like, "If Jesus were, he would not be a pharisee" or something to that effect, and when you look it up, it's like "If Jesus were here, he wouldn't be a pharisee" and completely glosses over Paul mentioning James, Jesus' brother, and Jesus being the seed of David and other stuff that would require him being, you know, real.

But, outside of the biblical caca he spouts, there's some good stuff.

 That superintendent sounded exactly like I did when I was going through the long deconversion process. Where I still had my faith but I was trying to reconcile it with what I knew to be reality... that just really creeped me out for some reason.

That was totally awesome; great find.

I can laugh even more easily than before at the various attempts to convert me (it happens rather often here--weird) because it doesn't matter if they are right or wrong, I have definately doubted so I am so totally damned regardless of anything I do. I am comforted by the extreme likelyness they are wrong... but still. :D

"That is correct!"

"How do you plan for that?"

"Uh... lucky guess?"

To be definitively damned, you should really blaspheme the holy spirit out loud. ;)

Just shows that nobody's above lying to suit their needs. Minor bits like that can actually absolutely ruin the effectiveness of an argument, or in this case, a movie. People will catch one lie, and assume that much of the movie is based upon lies.
So long, and thanks for all the fish
