Online game: Urban Dead

I find it extremely ironic that my human character (human fgalkin) is hiding out in the area near Woodroffe Mall in Tollyton, an area that will soon come under attack by Group 1 of the RRF, led by zombie fgalkin, my zombie alt.

SDNSAG, I have made myself a NT scientist who will be making his way down to our local NT building to act as the revival specialist for the group.

Shouldn't be getting a java error Nephyts, the only javascript Ihave running on the site is one to open a popup when you click on the big link for the forums.

Try the link Ace gave you, it should be working...

Finally joining the game and borrowing slightly from Fgalkin....

Human Dangermouse is heading out west, and is currently hiding somewhere in Gatecombeton, waiting for a chance to use the ole fireaxe.

Zombie Dangermouse is heading out east hoping to join the RRF in their glorious crusade of eating brains...

Crap! The first batch of RRF zombies have arrived, but I still have only 18 APs, and besides, I can't get out because the IP limit was not reset. Good thing they're attacking the mall, not surrounding buildings.

Looking at the wikipedia page, it would appear that the RRF is having a ball because they humans can't muster the coordination to keep them at bay. Is that an accurate assessment?

Well, that and there is no coordination and no joining requrements, and lots of publicity on the forums, so every zed in the city wants to join the RRF. The Scourge, the MoA and the Many are not as visible because they don't publicize everything they do.

A combined VGCats Survivalist Union, PARA, and Stanbury Renegades attack force plans to hit the RRF after the RRF ripped Nichols Mall open and ate everybody inside. I don't think it'll do much damage, but it's the biggest planned retaliation I've heard of.

As far as splitting the horde increasing the difficulty, I don't think so. Group 1 and 2 have at leave 30 members each and probably more like 50 plus Ferals, so they can crack malls pretty easy. In response to people PKing innocents over being RRF Spies, the RRF actually is attacking 2 Malls at once, which I believe is unprecedented.

Well, in that case, the bigger question becomes what will the admins do when the zombies become to overwhelmingly powerful. The RRF is either going to collapse from getting too big or it's going to gobble everything up, in which case the admins have to do something.

Humans still outnumber zombies over 3:1. RRF can't spread out much more than to three Suburbs before it grows to thin to keep out the harmanz.

Closer to 4:1, now actually.

As someone pointed out, humans still control 97% of the city, and most zombies are being hunted to extinction in most suburbs. it's only in the center of the city that zeds are really dangerous.

SDNSAG never closes its doors, mainly because that's an administrative task and we don't have the unit cohesion nescessary to nominate any administrators to deal with membership.

You know of the Grigg Heights warehouse-linked necro/pd/hospital complex, right? The PD is good for people without free running.

If not, here it is for dangermouse and you: Warehouse at coordinates 05x58, along with Blaxall Way PD and St. ... Lucius? Wolfgang's? Hospital and the Merson Building (Necrotech). There's a hospital, anyway, whatever it is.

I have a feeling I should nominate three more leadership positions and codify their most serious responsibilities, but that seems like too much effort so for now if you all mob near Grigg Heights' SDNSAG Safehouse and either vaguely do some zombie-killing or don't it'll work fine.
