Force Sub Power Rangers to Verdun, 1916
Ok, I'd like your opinions here. What would become of the Original MMPR if their teleporter gimmick went haywire and dropped them into the middle of the German assault on Verdun in the first world war? All they have is their personal weapons and Power Ranger suits. Remember they will be facing HELLACIOUS ARTILLERY BOMBARDMENTS, CONCENTRATED MACHINE GUN FIRE, and THOUSANDS OF BLOODTHIRSTY SOLDIERS on both sides, HEHEHEHEH..
... so what happens?
Sorry, I've been reading COMBAT: WORLD WAR 1 again, HEHHEEHEH.

Oh, and I forgot POISON GAS! Will their MMPR suits protect them against Mustard Gas, Chlorine and Phosgene, and other nasty vapors?

The Power Rangers win, if only because of their massively-uber-powerful Character Shields. This is what happens:
Power Rangers teleport in in front of German lines. Germans see them, open fire with Mausers. All 5 PRs are hit, sparks fly of their armor, and they twirl around and hit the ground. They all spin back up and Red says, "Ugh, they're powerful! We'll have to combine powers!" The Rangers all get their weird-ass animal-bot-mech-things which magically come out of nowhere, and they start stomping Germans. The Germans then fire their artillery and roll up those fucked-up gigantic tank-things they used and engage afore-mentioned weird-ass animal-bot-mech-things. All 5 Rangers' weird-ass animal-bot-mech-things are severely damaged. Red Ranger yells, "Dang! They're beating up our [weird-ass animal-bot-mech-things]! Combine to form [uber-retarded-ultra-fucked-up-Transformer-ripoff]!" Upon receiving word of the invading Power Rangers, Kaiser Wilhelm rushes to the seen of the battle. Baby Hitler then uses his Mega-Nazi-Ray to transform Wilhelm into a gigantic towering mass of German silliness. The PRs and Wilhelm duke it out for several miniutes, until finally the Rangers destroy the German menace forever. They are teleported back to the early 1990's where they discuss the whole thing using innuendo in a school cafeteria.

They should be safe from the first because it doesn’t exist yet.Falkenhorst wrote:Oh, and I forgot POISON GAS! Will their MMPR suits protect them against Mustard Gas, Chlorine and Phosgene, and other nasty vapors?
The Ranger would likely be safe from light sharpnal and rifle fire, but artillery would quickly take care of them.

Because if it was in II then all the nasty gas weapons would have been invented.
But I don't think the primitive gases then would have affected the MMPR anyway. Those needed to be inhaled. But modern nerve gases are lethal by skin contact.
Believe in the sign of Hentai.

Damn, sorry if I was a little ahead of some of the poison gas. I thought gas was first used in 1915, but it must not have been the same stuff I was thinking of. I'm not all that familiar with the various gasses.

The first use of gas was in late 1914 by the French, but it was only tear gas in small amounts. First use of a dedicated war gas was by the Germans against Russia in early 1915. The gas froze and was totally ineffective. Ypres was the first effective use of gas with the deployment of chlorine by the Germans again.

does anyone think I should write a fanfic about the power rangers somehow intervening in WW1? This would probably take place in a paralell universe, where some evil godlike superbeing decides to have fun and creates a giant clone army of power rangers and gives advanced weapons to the germans or something and then turns them loose and sits back to watch the fun. What does everyone think?
