Stas Bush, thanks again for the thought. One of my 'pet peeves' is when Christians say, "I deserve to spend an eternity in Hell because of my sin, but thanks be to Christ and His salvation....." I've always wondered how a person can really feel good about themselves if they have that mindset, . . . . . one of, "It's a good thing I have a way out of the place I deserve." If a person is a true "child of God", you'd think that they WOULD think more highly of themselves and not one deserving of eternal punishment for doing wrong things in their life.
But you know, this mindset is even in the Bible. The verse that states that "...our righteousness is as filthy rags...", . . . . that's talking about Christians. So I have to wonder, what Father makes their children constantly live in fear and under the dilusion that they're deserving of Hell, and are 'lucky' to be saved?
