Sadistic fun on Voyager Video Game

Post by FaxModem1 »

If anyone has played Star Trek Voyager:Elite Force, they know how fun it is to enter te god cheat and the all weapons cheat and take out he bridge crew. Just to hear Janeway screaming in pain as I vapourized her. I then took out Seven of Slut, who kept on saying"What are you doing?"

Now this is the point where everyone on the bridge has a phaser with them and begins shooting them at you.

Next, I take out Tuvok, let's see his logic save him from my PHOTONIC LAUNCHER.

Then there is Chakotay, I didn't have a grudge against him, but hey, might as well go the whole nine yards.

Up Next is Harry Kim, he tured to nothing but a bright flash of light.

But, that is when the game fades out and fades in of you in the brig and it shows the Doctor asking about your dreams.

Is this moment a dream shared by multiple people on this board, or have I just gone space happy?

I don't share the dream but I am curious enough to wonder if you can post screen caps of that.

MWAHAHAHA
I then took out Seven of Slut, who kept on saying"What are you doing?"
"Oh I'm sorry, did that hurt? Here, have another *ZAP*
Now this is the point where everyone on the bridge has a phaser with them and begins shooting them at you.
"YOU are trying to hurt ME. Rrrright."
Next, I take out Tuvok, let's see his logic save him from my PHOTONIC LAUNCHER.
"Logic dictates that it would be wise to put that weapon down."
"My finger dictates: F*** OFF AND DIE!"
Then there is Chakotay, I didn't have a grudge against him, but hey, might as well go the whole nine yards.
"WHoops, did I do that?"
Up Next is Harry Kim, he tured to nothing but a bright flash of light.
Here today, gone slightly later.
But, that is when the game fades out and fades in of you in the brig and it shows the Doctor asking about your dreams.

Press ~ then type god. You might have to type sv_cheat1 to make is work. Or sv_cheat 1.

Also, you can type in give [then type what you want here. A weapon, ammo, all]

God mode goes off though if you shoot a friendly.

Did they make any decent mods for that game?

Sorry, I have it on PS2, so I don't think I can get an image.

Another favorite line from them is"This is treason" as the character is getting shot. If you were being shot, would you care that this person is becoming a rebel to your nation.

Another fun thing to do is go into the tutorial where you are given no weapons and you are supposed to run and hide from the Klingons

GOD cheat and Weapons cheat

THose klingons are blasted to the other side of room.

btw, I'm going back to the game, who should I kill first?

Paris?

Janeway?

Chakotay?

Kim?

Tuvok?

Seven?

Please give me your votes and I will give you an extremely nice description of how they were killed.

For what system? If it's that cheap and a decent game I might pick it up.

Alright guys...sorry it took me so long. But here are the screen shots I took of me giving it to Janeway. And yes, I mean it in the good way.

Too funny!

It might be worth the $10: I'd never finish the game, but it would be worth it to see just how many times I could make Tom Parris die.

Actually, of all the Trek games, I'd have to say Elite Force is probably one of the better ones, next to Starfleet Command. (And Starfleet Command only because it's based off of Star Fleet Battles and is reasonably solid.) The storyline is... ehn... but there's at least some story to it, and it's reasonably fun. There wasn't all that much technobabble in it, and The Hazard Suits are quite a bit of fun, too. ("Wait, you'll need a helmet!" "I've got one in my transport buffer" *vwooom* I thought that was a neat little thing. :) )

Anyway, like I said, for Trek games, it's reasonably well. Oddly, it seems that like the only games based off of any franchise (ST *or* SW) that really do well is the first person shooters (c.f. Dark Forces/Jedi Knight/Jedi Outcast, Elite Force, etc.)
The Jedi asked, "What is balance for me as a servant of the Light?" The Master replied,"Balance is not what you seek. For you it is accepting that destruction is a part of the universe."

Don't forget the X-wing series of games: aside from spawning the "unshielded shield generators on the ISD bridge" brainbug that always makes me grit my teeth when I hear it, they were excellent. I wasted many an evening playing those. FPS games in general are so much fun... nothing else immerses you in that sense of *being there* quite like one. I'm eagerly awaiting Doom 3, not so much for the story as for what the engine will make possible in other FPS games based on it.

Oh yeah, and I have to admit to spending a lot of time playing Galactic Battlegrounds as well. There's no feeling quite like running the Gungans over with an army of AT-ATs.

KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!

Anyway to stay stab or beat them to death?

A good point about the X-Wing games. How could I forget those? TIE Fighter has got to be my favorite space fighter combat sim. (It would have been B5:ITF, but... DAMN YOU, SIERRA, DAMN YOUUUUUUU!) Galactic Battlegrounds is good, I suppose, but now we're getting subjective when i say that I'm leery of RTS games. Still, you're right, nothing beats the visceral thrill of totally wiping out Gungans in any way. =)
