The StarCrossed Review Thread

Post by Crossroads Inc. »

Because lets face it, many of us are sick and tired when we receive a mail saying someone has posted in the SC story, we all rush in, only to find its someone posting their review of the story after just catching up.

(Shoot, I incurred this wrath myself when I joined and read the whole thing through... Heck of a thing though)

So anyways... I figured at long last it would be prudent to start up a sepret "Reactions" thread for this monstrosity. Now, the fact that no one has done this before leads me to do ideas...

1: I'm the first to think this up, in which case Go Me!
2: This has been done before, but locked for various reasons (one of which may be that I'm not Stravo and as such would not have rights to actually make a thread like this)

In any case, here is hoping this becomes a useful thread.

Or, you know, you could just watch the Cleaned up one. That's what it's for.

well, I've noticed that the cleaned up one was behind the original one in terms of updates.

On topic now, what has happened to Khan so far? If anything?

Generally speaking, the cleaned thread is only a couple of hours behind the main thread. A day at the most. That's only a problem if you want to make a +1 1st response post.

Khan has been bitchslapped by a Thrawn-Vader tag.

Wathching Khan get what was coming to him was quite enjoyable. Though now I can't wait for the battle of Andor to commence. I recall Stravo mentioning that there would be no cheap technobabble deus ex machina with that new subspace weapon the Feds have. What will they do with the weapon, I wonder.

Just finished reading the story from the beginning. Man, this story is amazing. We must have the next chapter soon, Stravo. See, this is why I hate reading good fanfics halfway through. You are at the mercy of the author until they post something. Anyway, I couldnt help hearing the theme from the TNG when the Federation fleet went to wrap for battle.

ahh, the pre-battle pep talk. Of sorts.

Luke's X-wing seems like it's been stripped down to the frame and completely rebuilt. Which begs the question, is it still the same X-wing?

Technically, no. But hey, who's going to argue?

Whatever happened to that assassination subplot anyway? The one with the teleporting bullet.

Aldare is still waiting on Romolus IIRC, but I presume that in the light of the new events Luke has better things to do than public apparitions.

Really enjoying the story. I want to know the ending, yet don't quite want it to, exactly.

He has posted that he has other things in his life to do.

Posting about it won't get him to do it sooner.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

First of all I deeply apologise about the necromancy, but I thought is better to resurect this thread instead of making a new one.

I just woke up this morning and tried to see the impressions for the last Starcrossed chapter. I click on the link in the email and ... DREAD:

The topic or post you requested does not exist
I go to the forum ... no thread indeed...

Hmmm... I think today might be the four year mark for starcrossed. I can't remember, though, 'cause the thread is missing. Perhaps connected?
I had a Bill Maher quote here. But fuck him for his white privelegy "joke".

Chill man, the cleaned up version is still there, and it appears that Stravo recently added a chapter. 93, Battle of Andor V (I add this detail in case it had been put up on the main thread before it disappeared and I just didn't notice).
"I want to mow down a bunch of motherfuckers with absurdly large weapons and relative impunity - preferably in and around a skyscraper. Then I want to fight a grim battle against the unlikely duo of the Terminator and Robocop. The last level should involve (but not be limited to) multiple robo-Hitlers and a gorillasaurus rex."--Uraniun235 on his ideal FPS game

"The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant compared to the power of the Force."--Darth Vader

It's probably gone because of the size of thre thread, it was around 80 pages wasn't it? It was probably warping the entire forum
