[Flash Problems] More Whining from Ein

Post by Einhander Sn0m4n »

Some reason after updating Flash (or rather, Flash updating itself), Html-embedded Flash movies refuse to play at all no matter what. I have no idea how to fix this and would like some help.

Are you using Firefox with Adblock? It's a known problem between them and the latest Flash. I hear it can be fixed temporarily by disabling "Overlay Flash" under Tools -> Adblock, but as my copy hasn't autoupdated itself yet, I haven't had an opportunity to test this.

Edit: Oops. Wrong entry. I meant: Tools -> Adblock -> Preferences -> Adblock Options -> Obj-Tags rather than Overlay Flash.

On second thought, embedded flash still won't play. Flash files that aren't embedded work tho.

Hmm... Not sure what it might be, then. Even the Mozdev page mentions this as an issue and brings up the same fix. Have you tried flushing the cache and restarting the browser?
