I'm heading off in search of this game later, I wondered if anyone else from Sd.net would be interested in organising a supervillain group?

Sure. I'll need to pick it up today, or tomorrow...but I'm game.

I'm already in a Supervillian organization, however, if you guys make villian toons on the Pinnacle Server, I'm sure we can work something out that is...mutually beneficial.

Cov? Yeah I'm in the pre-order. Got a Level 7 Merc/Poison Mastermind on Virtue and climbing up the ranks. I love having all the killing done for me.

I was thinking about heading onto virtue myself, I've got the installer running right now. :)

I'll join you guys, if I can ever get this port problem fixed. Stupid school network.
I used to think that it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? I am afraid that due to SG constraints, once I get the game, I'm going to be stuck on Pinnacle to help get up prestige for our SG base. :(

Anyway, my heroes are all on Guardian, and my villians will all be on Pinnacle, so if you want to come by and play with me and my SG, just say hi and we'll come along.

All my villains are on Infinity, as are all but one of my heroes (the other is on Virtue). No SG yet for my Villains, and all my heroes are in a small (about 5 people and their alts) SG that's essentially dead (4 of the members have stopped playing the game), so I might be dropping out of that SG, since if you want a base, you need a large, active SG.

So far, I've got a L10 Robotics/Poison MM, L6 Radiation/Dark Corrupter, L12 En/En Brute, and a yet-unplayed L1 Plant/Thorn Dom.

Is CoV worth reactivating my CoH account? I had stopped playind CoH enough to make it worth the monthly fee (mostly due to time constraints)
There is no problem to dificult for a signifigantly large enough quantity of C-4 to handle.

Its more of the same.... except even normal CoV missions have a much cooler setup. Last night I got a task force style single villian mission where I had to attack an cargo vessel fighting mobs on the outside down the length of the ship. Then duck inside the cargo hold, meet up with some Family NPC's who joined me(Super Strength/Shotguns and Thompson minons) who got my back as I fought my way through another horde of mobs to get to my target, then had to fight my way back out and escape on the ship.

Good stuff. Plus MM's is fun stuff.

Just made 12, Got my second set of Merc pets. The Spec-Ops rapell in and have a modified mp90/AK/Futurelooking gun with a silencer on. Seriously the basebuilding aspect is like Virtual Crack. Not to mention the fact that my MM pets kick ass each one better than the last. Looking forward to my medic.

Only psychic powers are Mind Control and Psionic Assault, which only Dominators can take.
Dark (Corruptor's Dark Blast and Dark Miasma; Brute's Dark Melee and Dark Armor) powersets tend to have life-draining/siphoning abilities, but there's nothing blatantly vampiric in the game.
There aren't any obvious Vampire faces in the character creator, and there are no cloaks (only capes, which you can get at Level 20). There's nothing really resembling a classic Dracula costume, either.

I mostly hero on Guardian, Pinnacle and Virtue...I don't have any high-level villain characters yet (was really attached to the guy I had during beta), but I'm good for joining a SD.net VG on whatever server.

Damn, knew I was forgetting something. I'll pick this game up after work.

Oh, and I'd really like to know which server the bulk of us are going to be on, so if I get my mates into the game, we can all hit that server.
