What happen is absolutely horrible. I never once thought there would ever be a crash worse than the Ramstein one.

You may not have noticed but they ejected when the plane was about two seconds from impact, you critisise them unfairly, what would that hav achived other than inceasing the death toll by two?

Fact is that the ejector seats are there for a reason. Would it be honourable to look like you guided the plane into those people? No.
Saving your life takes just as much precedent.
