The Borg are already Darkstar. Watch the beginning of "Scorpion". Even after five months of getting their asses kicked by Species 8472 in every encounter, in every conceivable way, they still introduce themselves by saying "resistance is futile". Pure Black Knight Syndrome(TM).

Actually there would be a difference: Without Darkstar, the Borg would avoid the wormhole to the SW Galaxy. With him the entire borg fleet goes through, only to be soundly crushed by a passing ISD under the command of Admiral Wong.

Quantum fluctuations in DarkStar's head would force the Borg to believe that a few of their cubes could destroy an entire planet, therefore the Borg equal Species-8472 in firepower. The resulting battle, involving nearly the entire Collective, would be the greatest loss in the history of the Star Trek universe, utterly destroying the Borg. DarkStar, however, would be protected by his astonishingly thick cranium. Perhaps Death Star superlasers can penetrate it, but I would rate the Death Star's chances as being hit or miss against DarkStar.

Well consider: in the V'ger series finale "All Bad Things..." when the Borg Queen rammed the Assimilation Prongs™ into the aged Adm. Janeway, the resulting torrential flood of thirty years of accumulated stupidity caused the Queen to start falling apart faster than the episode's plot did and led to the destruction of the entire Borg Collective within ten minutes. This indicates that Borg systems cannot handle massive amounts of illogic and stupidity in one download.

The assimilation of Darkstar would probably cause every Borg facility to implode within seconds.
