Ash vs Buffy vs Blade

1. Blade can sense Vampires. in the first movie, he treats normal humans like nothing's most of the time. he can afford to. But, Can he sense Buffy's...well...Buff-ness? If so, he would not underestimate her. if he doesn't, he'd treat her like a normal human...and get sucker-punched

2. It's not how many, its WHO they defeat.

A Master Vamp on Buffy is also a lot stronger PHYSICAoLLY than a normal Vamp on Blade.

Glory - dethroaned God - Blade's Blood God beats her.

ADAM - That thing was easily as strong as the original Golden Age Superman (but she cheated to beat him, so let's not count him)

Pure Demon - Must be exludeded as well, she lead him into a well prepared trap.

The First - she's still fighting him...so, who knows how that'll turn out.

Other Slayers - Blade hasn't fought himself yet, really, and won out. he did his best against a the main reaver. so this can compare.

Still, it's who's the best at their job. If what is said in Fray happens on BtVS, then....well, sealing a dimensional portal to hell and destroying maybe hundreds of Demons would put her above the rest.

It's about who is the best at their job. For Ash, it's just a matter of Bad luck. For Blade, it's a life-consuming vengance quest. For Buffy, it's a Job, and she handles it like one.

so, it ends up like this.

Ash - Just being in the wrong place at the wrong time...but managing to escape each time.
Blade - Obbsessed psycho, on a quest he will never falter from.
Buffy - just a hard day's work...on a job she can never quit.

So, who really wins?

Well, who would YOU want toi hire as a demon Hunter.

We get the experienced trouble-magnet, the obsessed psycho and Debbie Depression.

I'd go with Debbie Depresion, thank you.

I just don't like Buffy. That somewhat clouds my judgement. But I still maintain that in combat prowess Blade is more powerful.

Anyway, their's only one way to compare this on an even playing feild...Consol Gaming!

All three have consol games, I've played all but Blade, so, I can't comment. but...according to the Gamespot reviews.

Evil Dead: Hail to the King (Dreamcast, PS, PC)- 4.3 out of 10
Buffy: the Vampire Slayer (X-box) - 8.3 out of 10
Blade 2 (PS2/X-box) - 4.8 out of 10

Of course, comparing combat systems would be much more practical...but I haven't played "Blade 2"...and I don't really plan to. (I have played the other two and the 'Slayer' engine is very nice)

And, yes, Buffy for X-box was one of the few really good games out for that system for a while (indeed, for a time, a person had to be contented with Buffy and Halo....only....).

Evil dead isn't anything special...though their is a 'one-liner' button, which is really fun.

If you think Buffy is better at her job, you've been smokin' some of that (as Martin Lawrence put it) Oooooh-Wee. Half the time she doesn't even want to do her job. Then there's the Scooby Gang, Ash doesn't have a team. Movie Blade works alone as well. Besides, do you really think Buffy has done a better job in the situations she's faced? Put Ash or Blade in her shoes, they would've done just as well if not better. Why? Because they do what they do by choice. Buffy constantly runs from destiny, and her friends bail her out.

And another thing, how many times have Ash or Blade died?

And you use reviews...my fucking god...that is like saying let's collect reviews for black Hawk Down vs Power Rangers to see who's protrayal is more real.

Then obviously Buffy is nothing but okay but hard game, Blade is DDR reject and Ash suffer worse game, okay lines.

That is out and outright bullshit to simply just avoid the thought that you like Buffy and that's why you picked her.

I mean fuck if it was console gaming...Belmonts make the Blonde bomb look shitty, Blade look like he's in the wrong ghetto, and ash look like he needs to go back to S-mart.

So please more logic while realizing this is fantasy and less illogical red herrings.

By Stats:
1) Blade (30ft flip says alot)
2) Buffy (2.5 ton deadlift)
3) Ash (Hail the boomstick!)

By Training
1) Blade (near lifetime of training)
2) Buffy (8 years + Natural Talent)
3) Ash (none at first, but more later on)

So far, Blade seems beter, but, I will post more when I have the time.

I recently bought the new Marvel Universe Encyclopedia Vol 1. (waste of fucking money if you ask me.

)

The Blade description has been changed to match that of the movies. Even his look is more in keeping with the movies

The ortiginal character always did kind of suck so the Wesley Snipes version is a big improvement.

Actually the whole first volume seems to be set up to capitalize on current hot comics or properties that are or will soon be movies.

There's some good art in the book but there is also some crap.

Buffy against either would be killed by the fact her longest range weapon is a freakin crossbow.

Both have shown when fighting they first shot then analyze from there...so after Buffy gets a stomach fuel of buckshot through her, what are they to do?

Go gee whiz we underestimated the slayer?
