FUCKING USB - need help.

OK, I've finally snapped.

USB has been my greatest enemy for quite some time, with my fucking ASUS P4P800 MoBo not detecting USB devices that are plugged in - often, not even after a reboot.

WHAT THE FUCK can I do to resolve this? Is it drivers? Is it just me? HELP ME!

I'm sick of not being able to do anything because fucking USB devices are a non-entity on my comp (not to mention several hundred dollars of wasted purchases because my comp may or may not detect the device and may forget that an old one has been attached).

Buy a new mobo that doesn't suck ass. Sell the current one to someone who you hate.

OK - I MAY have found a solution - apparently disabling USB legacy support (whatever the fuck that is) gives better support, but apparently, in order to ensure hot-plugging support you need to turn off USB 2.0 support... What the hell?
