Reading the novels and seeing the films, there is a thing that made me think about the senate.
And after a great search in the net, i didnt find answer to this question
How is Coruscant represented in the senate?
Does it have senator or is only a capital world without representation?
Where can i find references about this?
How is Coruscant governed?

I'd assume it has a senator until we're told otherwise.

Not really. After all, the mayor of Washington D.C. doesn't have seat in the Senate.Elheru Aran wrote:And if you were thinking in terms of a domestic administration, I imagine it has a governor of some kind with a bureaucracy running local affairs; perhaps said governor is also the senator for Coruscant, which would make sense.

Not sure how this fits into the grand scheme of things (seeing as I believe Coruscant DOES have Senatorial representation as well as some sort of governing body independant of the Galactic Congress), but Labyrinth of Evil says that recent legislature in the Senate gave Palptine "wide ranging powers over Coruscant" specifically.
I'd assume that means that that gave him the authority to directly supercede and take over the local Coruscanti government when he felt it was necesary.

Probably the security and police forces especially. Clone troopers seem to have largely replaced other officers be LOE, at least in high-sensitivity areas.I'd assume that means that that gave him the authority to directly supercede and take over the local Coruscanti government when he felt it was necesary.

This assumption of power makes sense. After all, what dictator wants his home under anyone but his direct thumb. The Original Nex wrote:Not sure how this fits into the grand scheme of things (seeing as I believe Coruscant DOES have Senatorial representation as well as some sort of governing body independant of the Galactic Congress), but Labyrinth of Evil says that recent legislature in the Senate gave Palptine "wide ranging powers over Coruscant" specifically.

Under the Republic, I'd expect that the Senate would be given extraterritorial treatment of some type (same with the Jedi) and otherwise Coruscant would be run as any other planet. Likely at least nominally democratic.
