I shrunk the pic of Voyager firing it's torp so that the torp looks about the same size in both pictures. I pasted the shrunken voyager pic over the planet. See how dinky voyager is? That asteroid certainly looks bigger than 44 meters! It actually looks like it might be 500 or more meters long.



In this pic you can see approximately how big the glow of the torp is compared to the falcon. Now go back and look at the top picture and see how totally inaccurate your 44meter estimate is.

Yeah well most of the guys that support DarkStar seem to be some moronic trekkie idiots like SlobbaTheHutt, the new page on his site that adresses some points from EU for instance is pathetic, those points he uses have been adressed several times and there is no contradiction to the energy levels that EU mostly an AOTC:ICS gives.

Offcourse there are comments that insult Mike's site, after all Mikes site is based on facts unlike DarkStars wanking fantasies like that the AT-ST is a frontline heavy attack vechile and if it sucks in ground combat then all SW ground vechiles must. There is lots of bullshit stuff in his site, offcourse it is easy for some stupid trekkies who dont even understand most of the text given in Mikes site but yell "BULLSHIT!!! LIAR!!! The scary thing is that in this case, Slobba's scaling is actually MORE accurate than DarkStar's, because DarkStar uses the final frame of the torpedo being fired to scale the asteroid (when the torpedo is as far away from Voyager as possible, so as to make scaling work more subject to error). At least Slobba uses the torpedo while it's being fired (and closest to Voyager) to make his assessment.
