Kinda hard when the riders get first crack at running us through before the healers can do their work. Usually by the second round everyone but Eidemyr (sp?) is killed off but by the third he too goes down.

In my party I have Newbie, Chuck,Connor and Eidemyr(sp?).

If you queue up the heal spell even if everyone's at full health, it will go off after the charge.

Heal 2 by o'Farrell in the beginning of the turn, heal 3 by Schala in the end. N00b attacks the Dragon, Misty uses magic on it. Dragon went down easily.

Something that I find works VERY well? Cast Haste on the Healer, especially if it's Scalia since she seems to always be last to act. Hasted, she acts second.

Darkdrium: Not to my recollection. They have to be found (I found all four).

Regarding your other problem...if you can get Kerkhof, take him along with you to face Laird; his Enhancer tech will help immensely. Otherwise, just level up a bit and keep using dampening spells like Magic Shield.

Do the in game fleets and naval strength of the various towns and cities represent anything in particular from the sites there represent in the real world or are they just extrapolations based on the character of the boards (or just made up).

It’s an amazing game so far, the plot is better than most of the commercial games I have played recently and the dialog is great.
