Yeah, but I don't have your Magical Shield of Shuttlepod Invincibility :P
That, and he knows I don't openly flame anyone unless I have a DAMN good reason. Funny thing is, after I did it he quit being so anal.

He's not so bad as some of the other Trekkies out there. He's an above-average debater, and significantly above-average when compared with the Trekkies we've been seeing recently. He's okay at reasoning, and has a very good ST knowledge base. His weaknesses are his SW knowledge and a tendency to overextend his debate positioning, and then get pinned to a few indefensible positions that seriously damage his entire arguments. I understand that he and Alyeska are currently making a Star Trek page, though I do not know any details of it, or even whether or not it will include a ST v. SW section.

He's also one of the few fair debaters left on SB.

It's hard to know what to say without pissin people off.

Maybe when i read some ridiculous claims i'll post them. For now my memory isn't good enough to think of any.
Our so-called "rediculous claims" are based on actual calculations derived from canon and official material. They just sound outrageous because the Empire is far more powerful. DarkStar is different. To defend his case, he excludes the EU, and ignores anything that hurts his arguments. Also, his MCR theory explains nothing, and acts like it's physically possible to destroy a planet with a small amount of energy, evem smaller when you consider the Death Star's sheer size.

The real problem with DarkStar's MCR theory is that it it not defined, and therefore by definition cannot predict anything. It is, thus, totally worthless as a "theory." If it could predict things, and only if it could predict things, better than Darth Wong's (and, in fact, EVERYONE else's) DET theory, then it would be valid. The fact that his "theory" does not even define itself prevents it from predicting anything, and makes it completely and totally worthless.
