Big Board stats analysis.
Now, assuming that you all can see that graph, (from here), I was just wondering what people make of the highly developing trends in the posting cycles here.
Not to mention the awesome 10,000 post per week post count.
Another interesting graph - why the huge amount of signups in Feb? I can understand the RotS early/mid-May signups, but what the hell happened in Feb?
Also - love the purges.

Looks like nice weekly cycles on the top chart, things drop off on Monday to Wednesday and then pick up in time for the weekend. More or less, give or take a day.
As for what happened in February, I'm guessing mass boredom from winter weather. I can't really think of anything else, maybe there was some big event in politics or the War on Terror, your guess is as good as mine.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either.

Those drops in the number of members in early January and June looks interesting. Are those the results of the Ban Hammer
Wait, there's no way that many can be banned and sign up all the time. That has to be active members or logins or something...

But then how can it be back at 2500 the week after? Or at 2600 as was the case in June... That must be a whole shitload of new signups in a very short time...ALI_G wrote:It's the famous SD.net purge of inactive accounts.

I think the bars are the number of new members per month (using the scale on the right) while the line is the total number of members using the scale on the leftDooey Jo wrote:But then how can it be back at 2500 the week after?
