Is that in there? To my knowledge I've only seen:

Ewoks vs Scouts
Tuskens vs Jawas
Geonosians vs Snipers
Wampas vs Rebels (hilariously fun)
Heroes vs Villains

The Naboo map has SBD vs Gungans.

I'll have to try Wampas - I'd assumed that was merely a Tauntaun hunt.

Also - Heroes vs Villains? How, where?

CS gets old really quickly for me. Because other people have the maps memorised, know what weapon is where, all the hiding places, and all of that crap.

And it's not an easy game to pick up in that environment of experts, because the other team can't really go easy on you or anything. Stuff like that is possible in one on one, but otherwise no.

Play Assault mode on Mos Eisley. It's Mace, Yoda, Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, Aayla and Ki-Adi versus Palps, Grievous, Vader, Anakin, Dooku, and the Fetts.

That was hella fun.

Though Palps felt underpowered... And Grievous just hurt people far too much.

Nah. The key with Palps is to always remember you have a much weaker saber attack, as his style is slow and tightly-controlled. It's a last resort weapon. All you really need to do is run around and spam unlimited power!, as while it depletes your stamina it won't stop when you run out.

And Grievous has no Force abilities - pop him with a saber throw or two. Or Han's blaster - that thing is vicious.

Yeah, taking Mos Eisley in Galactic Conquest mode I had the hero bonus queued up and expected a Jedi - Han was the first non-melee monkey I'd had.
And boy did he OWN that map.

I'm enjoying your responses, I really am. Especially liked when you accused me of fanboyism for the 4th time, really witty insult there. It's too bad that you now consider it a threadjack to continue the discussion here; are you up for another thread to debate in? If not, then I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

And back on topic, has anyone ever played the old N64 game Body Harvest? It's a pity, because at the core it's a great game, but there's all these terrible game-world problems, like it taking 10 minutes to run up a cliff, clipping through objects, random crashes, and lack of consistent saves. It's really too bad: I got to the second era and just quit after beating the first Processor out of frustration.

Oh man, Uts could probably write a whole essay about Body Harvest.

That game was simply a massive disappointment, that just got wrecked from being delayed for so long and not having everything ironed out.

I'd like to see that.

It's weird. The ideas behind the game were obviously well thought-out: huge world, numerous types of vehicles, constant threat of enemy attacks at any time...and yet you spent half your time holding the stick down, hoping that your character wouldn't fall into the water and die in 10 seconds, losing that hour of progress you've made.

Hey look, the pussified withdrawl of 'We'll have to agree to disagree!', the calling card of every pile of cunt-dribble to slither through our forum here. And yet, you can't seem to simply leave this alone and grow up. Seriously, what is it with you kiddies? Why can't you just walk away like a grownup? Do you honestly think trolling this thread is smart?

I am actually quite serious about continuing the discussion, just in another thread. Hence this will no longer be a threadjack. That simple. Yay or Nay?

The funny thing is, DMA design had quite a thing for the idea of open-ended vehicle-snathcing game designs. They later changed their name and produced Grand Theft Auto.

I actually don't recall enemies attacking me all the time; in fact I'm sure the game was so damn scripted you simply cleared out one area once and hoped you didn't accidentally trigger the next area's infestation too soon just by straying to far.

The first design outline I'll probably add to my website is a GTA 3 Body Harvest mod. I think it's time people play a version of BH that's a lot mroe polished and open-ended (Nintendo insisted DMA add puzzles and stuff to appeal to the Japanese market. I'd like to stick with something more dynamic, like securing critial locations and using them as new bases to take on more-infested locations).

So you can show you're a relentless, undying Fanwhore Zombie, who will endlessly attack people for not liking the shit you've swallowed whole? Let me think... No. I get enough such from the shitheads who troll Fantasy. Now shut up and go away, as it is clearly beyond you to mature to the point where you accept other people think the flaws pointed out are actually flaws and not 'features'.

Brothers in Arms: Absolute Shit!

Starcraft, I don't like not so much for the micro (although I hate it and never do it), but for the fact that it's "advanced" tactics have absolutely nothing to do with the way the game is played in single player (i.e. the way it's supposed to be played). I don't remember zerg rushes or endless lines of photon cannons or any single-unit rush in any of the missions.

Have a very nice day.

GTA: San Andreas pissed me off when I had to learn how to fly before I could continue the story. Why do they have to put these roadblocks right in the middle of the damn game? Oh, and Rockstar, it's time to update your graphics engine.

Enter the Matrix. Argh. Nothing says fun like being chased by a billion Agent Smiths.

Unreal 2: overhyped, severely underwhelming. The Sims: I just don't get it. Starlancer: some of the most idiotic AI I have ever encountered.
