Video Game Music

Post by 18-Till-I-Die »

I've been looking around and cant really find anything, so i was wondering if any of you know.

Is there a site where i can find music from video games, like to hear it i mean not downloading? Specifically, the theme from MGS3 'Snake Eater'?

Any assistance is appreciated.

It really isn't that hard to find. I just typed "Video Game Songs" in google and came up with numerous hits.

Try www.ocremix.org. I think they have the original songs that remixes came from.

Given that most of these songs are available on soundtracks of some sort, thus falling under copyright, etc. etc., it means we can't really help you with .MP3 versions. You'll have to use google some more. :P

They sometimes have the soundfiles for stuff like NES, SNES, and Genesis games, in their original file formats, so you need stuff like Winamp plugins or special stand-alone players to use them.

The music from the third level of the original Castlevania is the greatest song ever written.
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster

live365.com has some pretty good streaming audio stations featuring videogame music.

Just do a search for "videogame" or "video game"; both yield different results.
