I must admit, i've never read any star wars books, only watched the prequel trilogy movies (episodes I to III), but I have been wondering; have the Empire and the Federation actually MET yet (like in a recent new SW book or soemthing)?
Just curious.
I first became interested in this SW vs ST thing when I downloaded a scenario about it for a Civilization II game.
Nice meeting y'all!

Be nice or I'll nuke you.
Not in any official or serious capacity, no.
And you should really get around to seeing the next trilogy. I hear its quite good.

Yes, that is exactly what I downloaded.Duken wrote:Here I assume. Scroll down to Star Contact: Part 2: Star Wars vs. Star TrekSolauren wrote:And where tell did you download it?
Pretty cool. 3 sides to play from: Borg, Federation, or Galactic empire. There's even a switcher program that'll edit the scenario "events" and graphics when you load the program to choose one of those three sides. Of course, playing as the Empire is awesome.
Be nice or I'll nuke you.

Cool?
If its power-wise correct implemented, there are only 3 levels of plying this game...
Absolute Beginner/No way to loose - Galactic Empire
Hard - Borg
Impossible (we MEAN it) - Federation

A minute's thought suggests that the very idea of this is stupid. A more detailed examination raises the possibility that it might be an answer to the question "how could the Germans win the war after the US gets involved?" - Captain Seafort, in a thread proposing a 1942 'D-Day' in Quiberon Bay
