help me build the best sci fi search engine.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I've finished the back end coding on my search engine and it's pretty robust. It can crawl and index sites quickly and is built on a similar api that yahoo is based on, so it's very powerful.
Now the hard part for me is finding the best sites and content to index, the site is called hyperspace.com and it's focuing on science fiction.
I'm looking for some sci fi afficianados to help me build this up. Specifically I'm looking for what categories I should organize data into, what are the main areas for example - TV, Movies, Video Games, Star wars, horror, ficiton writing, etc. etc.
I've done the technical part and now I need a couple of people to help me indentify and catalogue the content.
If you are interersted in joining this project as a charter member pls let me know. I think we can build a very relevant and useful search engine for the sci fi community.
Pls check out the basic engine which I just put online LINK SUPPRESSED. -The Wookiee (nothing fancy in terms of design yet)
also email me on LINK SUPPRESSED. -The Wookiee if you want to help us out..
Thanks!
