At least since March based on the oldest thread there. But as expected, DSG2k hasn't made a single post there. He REALLY only cares about SW vs ST, even on a board where the admin sucks his cock, he posts about nothing else. Like this a surprise to anyone.

I'm almost ready to go back over there and revive FedKiller. This kind of arrogant stupidity should be stomped out so it cannot infect the young children in the world, thereby infecting the next generation.

I just changed my post to something more general.
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster

Can't say I'm surprised at those figures. That board was created as a worshipful celebration of a sad, lonely man who has no interests outside of "Star Trek vs Star Wars". How much interest can that possibly generate?

To me, RSA's biggest problem was exemplified on the day that I asked him to start playing this game with a little bit of sportsmanship, and he was apoplectic that I dared call it a mere game. That's the day I finally realized that he was well and truly insane. Up until then, I always thought he was just one of those overcompetitive unprincipled assholes who would break any rule to win the game; after that day, I realized that he thinks it's not a game at all.

Quite massive.

But for a glimpse at the top ten posters(not all active)

Darth Wong: 36653

Sea Skimmer: 23457

Stormbringer: 20694

Admiral Valdemar: 19500

Ghost Rider: 19179

The Yosemite Bear: 18109

Vympel: 17473

SirNitram: 17224

MKSheppard: 16129

Joe: 15671

But much like Mike said, no one here is honestly as insane about the SW vs ST contest. Most consider it dead, others have some minor interest on some of the minutae. What is frightening is to see RSA actually leap at and attack people who make policy.

Honestly Lucas himself could go "EU counts." and RSA would literally go "You're just saying that to benefit the warsies." or scream some other hysterics. He honestly believes he's some form of Ahab and it's the White Whale.

I get this image in my head of him standing a rowboat amidst a stormy sea being tossed around by waves, wielding a plastic model of the Enterprise-E and smacking an Imperial Star Destroyer in the nose as it pokes it above the waves.

Of course Ahab chasing the White Whale is a man seeking revenge on a creature that bit off his leg. There are also good reasons to go after a Sperm Whale other than revenge. So while Ahab is crazy his not entirely down for the count.

This guy's boat is sunk and he is still chasing the White Whale on a piece of planking.

It bears noting that only 7% of my posts are in the SWvST forum, and I imagine that a similar ratio holds true for other members of this board.

Change the "stormy sea" to "RSA in his bathtub" and you probably have a factual picture. :)

It can't possibly get any clearer than this, folks. Mange the Swede has asked very direct questions to Chee, and there is simply no spin doctoring about it; Chee COMPLETELY destroys Darkstar's personal "canon" policy. Bookmark the following link gents, Scooter will be crying about this for years:

++http://forums.starwars.com/thread.jspa? ... tart=01950
Tasty Taste (Leland Chee) wrote:does LFL view the Star Wars canon in the same way as Paramount views the Star Trek canon

I can't speak to how Paramount handles the Star Trek canon, but I can say that the Holocron is a tool provided to certain members of LFL Production which they can use or not use as they seem fit.

Is Licensing (or has it ever been) a completely seperate cooperation (i.e. detached from LFL)?

Licensing has always been under LFL, unlike LucasArts or ILM.

It has been claimed that LL can't make decisions on things from the movies (or rather explain things as the case is with the Incredible Cross-Sections and Locations reference works etc.) as that would somehow go against Mr. Lucas's intentions.

If George Lucas has any intentions on things not in the films that he wants Licensing to avoid, he lets us know. He usually doesn't concern himself too much with minutia like how big is this ship or what is this species name, so much of that is left to the discretion of Licensing.

It still boggles the mind that RSA could actually be so arrogant and so insulated from reality that he could go to the people at Lucasfilm Licensing and argue with them that they do not understand George Lucas' intentions as well as he does.

We've always joked that he may be clinically insane rather than just being a pathetic loser, but that seems less like a joke and more like reality all the time.

Like Swede and I said seperately on strek-v-swars, it was funny how he immediately denied that he was trying to lecture Chee when called on it, yet projected fiercly over having "broken Chee's favorite toy" immediately before.

That's the most amazing thing; he honestly believed that he could go and school Lucasfilm Licensing employees on the policy of ... Lucasfilm! And he believed at one point that he was winning!

The funniest part is I find it more amazing that he went over there trying to school them, not that he believed he was winning.

Someone as delusional as him, I can easily envision he fosters the thought that his canon policy is and has always been correct. For him, the fact that Chee didn't get Lucas himself to counter his claim does nothing but confirm this notion for this moron.

Ackbar's-Twat (aka. Guardian 2000, aka DarkStar, aka RSA, aka Scooter, aka...) CONTINUES to argue with Chee about George Lucas, despite Chee's statement
Tasty Taste wrote:...Lucas believes Boba was killed in RoTJ ... that he died.
The fact that GL even considered adding a Boba Fett coming out of the Sarlacc scene for the DVD indicates to me that Fett's fate isn't sealed in George's mind. I interpret George's "didn't fit" wording to mean that it disrupted the flow of the movie, not that it didn't fit within the universe outside the films. As this is GL's most recent quote on Boba's fate, I believe this supercedes anything he has stated previously.

Re: Lucas's "Parallel Universe" Statements -
GL is not bound by the EU. The EU is bound by the films and directives from GL. While it's easy for GL to disregard the EU, it is not possible for Licensing to diregard GL's universe. From Licensing's perspective, it can't be anything but an expansion of GL's universe.

Flannelled One calling it parallel makes it so by definition.
To my knowledge, GL has not asked that the official name of the "Expanded Universe" be changed to "Parallel Universe."
Talk about royal ownage. I also like the itallicized statement, since it further supports the evidence of the Executor being more than five miles, which is what some nitwits continue to argue for.

Good god what a bunch of pathetic fucks. I like debating and such as much as the next guy, but DipShit and his merry band of twats are borderline psychotic about it. Now I remember why I haven't bothered posting on strek for months now.

I feel bad for Leland, having to put up with this crap. Oh well, if nothing else, at least he's given us some great quotes to work with.

Yes. Apparently, he takes it as some sort of a victory that he's arguing with an LFL employee about canon policy. I guess as long as his delusions are maintained in his own mind, then he's still winning, never mind the fact that someone disagrees with him who is in a position to have direct contact with George Lucas, and who is hired to deal with things like this.
