Got this from a college and he asked me to look into what it is and how it works.

Apparently Steve Gibson over at grc.com did a heavy promotion of this application in a radio show.

And all I can say right now is that it is looking very sweet indeed.

The idea is that you install an application on your computer; it sets up a Virtal NIC.

Then it permanently assigns a IP to that nic and encrypts the packets to and from that network, and it is a easy thing to setup your own VPN networks.

I have created a network named sd.net so PM me to get access to that network

Nope it makes a virtual LAN between two or more computers, and as a bonus that LAn cannot be monitored or overheard.

Nice thing to have if one would want to keep communications out of the goverment and private entetys knowledge.
