Invisibility. Then I can sneak up on people, spy on people, beat up people I hate, and generally freak people out.

Invisibility first popped into my head.

I stuck with it. Invisibility would seem, to me, to be more useful. You could use it everywhere, anywhere, and achieve through subterfuge what you could not otherwise(and get away with it).

Whereas flying, if there is a low ceiling...there goes the use. And while this form of transportation might be easier than what is otherwise available, it is outweighed by the powers invisibility can give.

Invisibility. After watching The Invisible Man series it seemed like a natural choice. It is also the only choice listed that cannot at least somewhat well be replaced through artificial means.

And I can do much more naughty things with it.

Flight.

You can pick out invisible people through what sound they might make (Bean didn't say anything about sound being blocked as well). Flight, on the other hand, gives you a huge transportation and maneuverability advantage. I'll take flight.

If there's no technical stuff, then invisibility. It will allow me to sneak into places, and people won't look in amazement whenever they see you, like when they see someone flying.

I chose flight first. My first thought was the assumption that this refers to the ability to levitate oneself (as opposed to, say, the ability to get in line with razorblade-wielding terrorists for a chance to eat peanuts picked during Jimmy Carter's presidency while sitting inside a silo with wings). One of the reasons is that I have a fear of falling, another that the ability to personally defy gravity (let's face it, sex would be very, very cool).

My first reaction was for flight, but I quickly decided on invisibility after thinking about it for about three seconds.

First instinct was for invisibility, but about two seconds after that, I revised it to flight. If they can't see you some saftey problems can come to mind.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. First instinct being invisibility. Although it is a very tough decision, I would take invisibility. Flying is a matter of buying an airplane ticket.

Invisibiluity has tactical advantages. If you fly, visibly, you are too much of a target.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

I choose Flying, not because of tactical considerations, or because I can make nasty stuff... Just because it I like to fly, well, I would if I had wings, but, given the current technology, a plane will do...

My first instinct was Invisibility. My second instinct was Invisibility too...
Not to mention my survival instinct, my screw-other-people instinct and my pocket instinct.
Then I saw flight and thought "wee flying would be fun too, but not as fun as being invisible". I'd rather have full teleportation.
Basically after becoming invisible I'd steal everything in sight, probably. And fuck with people who piss me off. Maybe I'd team up with some wannabe stage magician and do all the levitation stuff for him and become rich.

I picked invisibility feeling that it would be more versitile. There's also the perv factor  , being nosey, and messing with people. :D

However, I am assuming that I would be able to see while invisible. It would really suck if I couldn't.

Flying would be cool but sooner or later some asshole or various nut-job would decide to take a shot at you. Unless some extreme durability came with the flying package I'd be concerned about being too visible as the only
person in the world who could fly.

--I'd take invisibility. I believe I would be able to get a lot more use out of it and be able to keep it a secret if I was careful. The reason is that invisibility allows me to accomplish a number of things that are simply impossible currently. Flight doesn't allow me to accomplish much of anything that can't be countered easily, is of value, or can't be done using machines.

Flight. Can you imagine being able to fly anytime, anywhere? That would be super! You can cruise around with the birds and swoop down on people. I'd fly to work everyday rather than fighting traffic.

I went for invisibility.

Don't think I'm sticking with it. Who said we ahd to choose the one that would best further our own interests? invisibility woudl be a cool way of getting what you want, but flight to me is an end its itself. I want to be able to fly.

Invisibility was my first instinct, but on second thought, no. Flight, because I always wanted to be able to fly. And I'd not be comfortable with invisibility. Don't know why, but for me it seems somehow ...wrong.

Now to revile where I got this

This question orgional comes from the excellent show, This American Life on National Public Radio

This is from the Superheros show
http://www.thislife.org/pages/archive01.html#178

Gotta have Real-Player to listen to the clip but trust me its worth it, Also check out the rest of the Web Page for some more good ones, Start with Staff Favroites and specficily "Cruilty of Children"

Though if you don't want to just listened to the afformentioned link, Second Story in, about 14 mins into the clip.

I'm Indesisive...
What conditions are there? For instance:
Invisbility: Is it permenant? Does it extend to your clothes?
Flight: Does it negate atmospheric pressure/G-force problems?

I voted for invisibility. You can sneak on to a plane with invisibility, but there's no known way of becoming invisible yet.

Flight.

If you can't turn invisibility on/off then it's a damned curse rather than a superpower.

my first thought was flight. flying is cool. we´ve always got 3 dimensions around us but can on ly use 2.

on second thought it depends on the details
if you cant turn invisibility on and off its evil.
if you can only fly 1 m per hour it sucks.
