A few Asterix albums
A new wallet
Cash
Cinema coupons

My parents still don't take holiday presents seriously - they got me a little book, How To Survive A Robot uprising - Tips On Defending Yourself Against The Coming Rebellion :)

The real loot comes at New Year, though. Probably mostly cash and gift certificates.

Load of money, load of chocolate, the first volume of the Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex Official Log analysis DVD/book, a nice YSL top and the complete Lost season 1 that I got off a good friend, whom I got nothing (yeah, I'll change that, I just have a thing against, y'know, using my cash).

Since I didn't ask for anything, did better than expected. I really just want the job I've applied for, though the money will help, far better than useless gifts I never asked for.

-Logitech X-530 5 speaker + Subwoofer combo for my computer.
-Kinky Friedman T-Shirt/Bumper Stickers with his "WHY THE HELL NOT?" Slogan for his run for Texas Governer.
-Broken Car Window(the glass is fine, the part that makes it go up and down is fucked)
-Ent-A Halmark Orniment(to go with the rest of the Star Trek orniments.
-Anakin's Jedi Interceptor Orniment w/ Sound Effects to go with the Naboo Starfighter, and the light up TIE Advanced.
-Assorted stocking stuffers including Almond M&Ms, Almonds, several Slimjim immitation jerky food products, candies and a sack of oranges. Yes a whole sack of oranges in my stocking. I love my stocking(which I've had since youth), since its not so much a stocking as it is a burlap sack with the image of a stocking sewn onto it.

Those of you who receive money, do you go out and spend that money on things for yourself that you want, or do you end up being practical with it and using some (or maybe all) to pay bills or school loans?

It depends. If there was something in particular I wanted but didn't get, I'll go out and get it myself. If there wasn't, I'll just put it away and it'll eventually buy me a grilled chicken sandwich.

I took into my possession a mobile phone, an MP3 player and a truly expensive watch (over six hundred pounds. I mean, whoa). I also got clothes, including new underwear and book six of The Dark Tower. Still haven't read five though.

  • Cold hard cash.
    SW Episode II DVD.
    SW Episode III DVD.
Batman: The Animated Series Volume IV DVD (that consumed my afternoon).
Civilization III Complete Edition (this will consume the rest of my life).
An Underarmor T-shirt (my dad gave one to everybody; maybe he bought some stock in them?)
Some random gag gifts my family thought would be amusing:
  • A Batman and a Star Wars pillowcase.
A random LEGO racing truck thing.
A Batman 3-D Viewfinder thingy (remember those binocs you got as kids that had the discs with the pictures you could look at? One of those).

Depends. Since I get cash it usually goes to whatever I happen to come along first in my travels: food, cool stuff, etc. Whatever I happen to see that I want/need to buy, basically.

I'm probably going to bank it, but I think I can use it to buy lunch at work.

Still looking for a car to replace the one which was written off a few months ago.

Hypothetically speaking, if I ever got money for christmas it's going towards something sinful. Fun stuff like booze, drugs, porn, and stripjoint or massage parlour visits. That's probably why people don't give me money.

Target Gift Card (unknown amount)
25 pack CD-RW (Ironic, considering I have access to a DVD burner now.)
300 GB Hard Drive (More accurately, more like $180 dollars that I used to purchase it. (It also had something like a 80-90 dollar rebate) On top of this, I required a new OS just to recognize this new one. As it turned out, I am now typing this in SuSE Linux and have to now figure out how everything works.)
Darwin Awards book
Return of the King Widescreen Edition

And some other things.
