With all due respect to the determination of my fellow "trekkies", please shut it.

Mike is an Engineer. He knows physics like the back of his hand. It's time to lay down and let him have the win. Unless you have hard numbers, or conclusive evidence for an argument, save it.

But its pretty much spam would you not say? Mike knows what he's talking about but he's not always right, Never blindly accept anything from anyone

How about you go shut up instead. You say to your "fellow" trekkies but you don't even bother to make a distinction between the different types of trekkies. You haven't a clue what I talk about or what I claim in my posts.

Note that he said "Unless you have hard numbers, or conclusive evidence for an argument." Translation: Don't post without thinking. Now, as someone who thinks before they post, I don't see why you take offense to that very reasonable advice.
