Sure I'd like my own (or at least be part of the crew) bomber rather be in reserve (I just have to hope that I don't get shot down on the First flight)
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

well, to do that, it would help if I got that channel. I see that it's on the sci-fi channel, which I don't get, so yeah, I'm deprived.

If you're going for a squadron, I dub my bomber the Three-Sixty. It flies along just fine, but crashes at random intervals...

I dunno, make it take off without a navigator or something.

Herein begins the log of the 327th Squadron or the 92nd Group of the 1st Bombardment Division of the 8th Army Air Force. From this point forward known as the SDN Squadron.

The roster of bombers and COs:
1 - Pimpmobile - Anders Russell (WeeMadAndo)
2 - The Big One - Ryan Crierie (MKSheppard)
3 - Lady Luck - Colin Witz (Yosemite)
4 - As Stubborn As... - David Harris (Darth David)
5 - The Guppy Shark - Ian Relihan (Noble Ire) (was meant to be Brad Carletti)
6 - Target For Tonight - Mark Harris (Sylas Gaunt)
7 - Secret Policeman's Ball - Brad Carletti (GuppyShark)
8 - Death Incarnate - Mark Stevenson (Civil War Man)
9 - Falling Over Backwards - Doug Robison (DesertFly)
10 - Big Bad Wulf - Sampo Paalanen (Lord Revan)
11 - Tough Stuff - Jake Hagel (Hawkwings)
12 - Stink Bomb - Steve Kissinger (The Dark)

The first mission was intended to be a simple raid on Cherbourg Harbour. The raid became somewhat more complex when a large formation of Fw190s intercepted us en route. Despite accounting for 7 bogeys, between the fighters and the flak I'm sad to say the war is over for Mark Harris, who was hit, but safely baled along with his entire crew only to be captured. Our condolences go out to the families of the crews of As Stubborn As... and The Guppy Shark. Both of which were lost with all hands.

Sadly, due to bad conditions over the target and inexperienced crews, the bombs failed to strike their intended targets. The 327th Squadron mourns its first losses.

You got one posthumously. When I have an hour to spare I'll transcribe the huge numbers of stats and medals.

Phew! Dodged a bullet there. Who'd have known showing up late and ending up on the wrong bomber would have saved my hide?

Poor Ian.

If I get put in make mine either the: 'Yossarian Lives!' or the 'Fatum Iustum Hereticum' if that fits.

Flip a coin if they both do.

War ain't over yet pilot, though I'd hate to see in which condition I landed the plane (assuming it can called a landing (the B-17 was know to take insane amount of punishment and still make it back to the home base))

Usually, yes. Most of the time two squadrons, a mixture of P47's and P-38's.

"Stink Bomb"? Oh, well. Not like I could've come up with a better name for a bomber anyway.

If there's any space left in the reserves, I'd be happy to add my name to the ring.

My name being Mike Nugent.

I don't know! Stop shouting!

Remember to flick all the switches. Select the <new save> then enter the name, then flick the save game switch. If that doesn't work, then start to worry.

Okay. I'm worried. Clicked new game, typed over it, pressed save current game button. Nothing.
