It's a rebalancing. Sure, it's detrimental. I'm not questioning that.
But I'm saying that it's really just a difficulty increase. I know the raid's had a LOT of practice (and failures), but I suppose Blizz decided the maintanks had it too easy.
It's not a nerf because it affects every raid, group and tank across the board. Think of it as a difficulty increase.

Okay, let me state, I do understand your reasoning. I still cry bullshit, because they should have made the monsters worse, not hurt the players.Nephtys wrote:It's a rebalancing. Sure, it's detrimental. I'm not questioning that.

Hell, it didn't change anything anyway - slow weapons are STILL better than fast weapons thanks to instant attacks. I haven't exactly sharded my Reaper. There's a reason we have variable speed weapons... right?Ghost Rider wrote:Screw that shit...my Rogue can two shot, Hunters can two shot, Hells....most class can, barring Paladins. I'm complaining not because of the stealth nerf of slow weapons. That one is more a "Why Blizz...because too many are armed with slow axes?!"
It was just a nerf for the sake of it.

This is why I'm now keeping a few days leave from playing WoW I noticed that I did hardly nothing else then play WoW.
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

To a degree. The Arcanite Reaper still has it's max end damage, and honestly is not nearly as affected as Blizz or people made it out.GuppyShark wrote:Hell, it didn't change anything anyway - slow weapons are STILL better than fast weapons thanks to instant attacks. Past 3.4 speed, the weapon speed means diddly. Thus any weapon they make that is 3.9-4.0 range(which they have for ZG and probably will do so for later); unless it has some immense bonus is no better then your Reaper in many ways.
That was the stupid part.

The new patch helped my 60lvl pally, but the login times on my server are getting ridiculous.

Well, if it has the same DPS, a 4.0 speed weapon would have a higher baser damage - and Mortal Strike and its kin are based on the weapon damage, so you're still better off using the 4.0Ghost Rider wrote:Past 3.4 speed, the weapon speed means diddly. WoW has been taking up a good part of my free time, but before I started playing, that time was just being taken up by some other game I played for a few hours a day anyway. Once I get my current warlock up to 60, I'll probably just play less and get back to some other game.
