Serious answer - I am a doctor. This is my second year as a resident (third year since graduating). Currently working in a peripheral hospital doing General Medicine. By next week I will in a major hospital working as the new oncology resident.

Postgraduate student at Lancaster University, doing a Master of Research in Environmental Science. Currently doing a project on whether we can make pretty conical shapes in ice for some reason. Think I might have chosen the wrong research project, but there we go - having to teach myself steam/ice interaction stuff from scratch. But it's a challenge.

Also doing some occasional teaching to the first years for a lecturer who I'm on good terms with, it pays, so I'm not complaining.

<==== This is my passion.

However, my day job is coordinator/administrative assistant to a group of medical researchers specializing in meta-analysis of new medical technologies. Which I occassionally refer to as "glorified secretary" but it also involves being office machine trouble-shooter & repair tech, travel agent, and a half dozen other things.

Just to put things in perspective - I graduated from college about 20 years ago. So I guess that makes me one of the old farts around here.
A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. Leonard Nimoy.

Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.- Malcolm Reynolds, Captain of Serenity, which sums up my feelings regarding the lawsuit discussed here.

Good luck with that Chardok, I hope you find a better, more fulfiling job in which you can enjoy your days at work.

As for me, I'm a Stay at Home Mom/Homemaker whatever you want to call it. I plan to get into Massage therapy once both my kids are in school full time.

Of course that's my plan now and that could change any day in the next 4 years ;)
