Vader or Borg?
A typical Borg drone. Darth Lord Vader.
Which do you think contains more machinery and computers?

Vader. He's taller than an average Drone.

Vader.
It appears that the Borg drones are simply covered with a network of machinery and several specialized additions added on, i.e. cutting saws, laser eye targeters, etc, while Vader has a mechnical spine, arm, legs, lungs, heart, and intestines.

Question: wtf is that device Borg drones have on their arms- like they're all different and they don't seem to serve any purpose- they just twitch.

I thought it was a multipurpose tool, which they don't use because of bad writing.Vympel wrote:Question: wtf is that device Borg drones have on their arms- like they're all different and they don't seem to serve any purpose- they just twitch.
Of course it could just be a vibrator for the queen.

This reminds me... one of my first fanfic attempts:
The Bajoran Incident
<The Executor>
Borg: Umm... Drone, assimilate those humans.
Vader: Drone? Assimilation? Don't you mean disintegration?
Borg: You ARE one of us, are you not?
Vader: (hiss... hiss...) No.
Borg: Assimilate them anyway.
Vader (turns to Fett): What's an assimilation?
Fett: I have no idea.

Vader has way more machinery. And he can still think with his brain.

I could never think of Darth Vader as a Queen... the thought makes me shudder.
Would it still be the Dark Side? (or perhaps the Wild Side?)
I far prefer Vader to any of those Borg drones; he's far more his own person, and has my admiration. Though evil, he's entirely rational about it all, and that is what I can respect. Apart from that, who knows any Borg that can choke someone across space (Capt Needha) while on a video communication link with them?
The only Borg I respect is 7 of 9 (but I would rename her 10 out of 10).
May your light sabre never dim...

Look at the way a Borg drone walks, almost frankensteinish, Vader can move faster, plus his armor would more or less protect him from attempted assimilations. Let's not forget he could simply make the drones brain or heart explode.
"It was the hooker rationing that finally drove people over the edge." - Mike on coup in Thailand.
Yes, Vader positively glides along, like a... a... well, not a Queen, anyway...
...while the Borg moves along in a similar way to someone who was recently in desperate need of a toilet/restroom/bathroom but didn't make it in time, then suddenly lost all sense of self-esteem, and carried on with what he was doing previously.
I liked the snippet as well!
How about this one?
Borg: Prepare to be assimilated!
Vader: Go away, you twerp!
Did you like it?
