I graduated from college two and half years ago, with a B/S in Computer Science, and I'm currently a Software Engineer for a small defense contractor in Southern Maryland. I mainly work with hardware and write data processing code, using C/C++ and a propriotery FPGA programming package. In a few months I'll probably be learning VHDL. I've also been stuck with some security related duties (which sucks), and I get to duck everytime a Super Hornet decides to buzz the office.

Starting my second semester at Lakeland Community College here in dreary North-east Ohio. Yeah, it's a CC, it's also one of the best in the country, and we have a kick-ass Model UN team

. Majoring in History, with a minor in Political Science/Anthropology. Going for an Associate's of Arts degree, to transfer to either Case Western Reserve, Kent State or Cleveland State University for my Bachelor's and perhaps Master's in History/Archaeology. Aiming at a very hopeful and very distant Ph.D in Ancient Near-Eastern History, with (I hope) secondary degrees at some level in Archaeology and Anthropology, again specializing in the Ancient Near-East. I'd like to eventually teach History at the college level, and travel extensively using other people's money. I have no job, live with my parents and am currently planning a shoestring tour of the Eastern Mediterranean with a friend next summer.

CS/EE student for 3 years now. Going to choose CS next year once I hit the branching point in my studies - kinda hate EE at this point do to it being forced on CS students for several years. However since the faculty of the university I'm attending is considered the best in the region for CS I guess there is a point to it

I was a bicycle mechanic for 5 years, does that count? My hands were never completely clean unless I'd been off work for a couple days.
