I'm fine with after the seventh (because of fgalkin) and before the twentieth. I need to go back to college on the twenty-third and I want to prepare myself.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Well, the next week, the 8th, is fine for most people, and Thirdfain might actually join us this time.
Of course, that bastard Innocent will want to leave by midnight, but if we actually get started at noonish, all the better .
Gives me more time to muck around with the conversion too.

Just an update to keep everyone on track. As of right now, we're looking at the 9th, next monday, as the day of the game. I'll be making some updates to the pre-gens and going over character creation with people over this next week.

Okay, here's the plan. I'd like everyone to be at my place as close to noon as possible, so we can get started with little fuss. Chances are we'll have to have people writing up characters (and a few making characters ).
In order to do this, Dalton, Soontir, and Comrade Galkin should meet up with Marcao at Penn Station between 10 and 11 (Comrade Galkin, that means 10!).
Marcao will post the appropriate plan later tonight. Get a good night's sleep gentlemen. There's a world to save.

Sounds right by me. I still need to get dinner though.

Rightyo. I probably won't get there until around 11 unless I manage to get up in time for the earlier train.

Heya All!
I am sorry this took so damned long to post but it has been a very busy day. Anyways, I have no problem meeting you all and acting as your shepherd to Hotfoot's love shack.
We can meet up between 10-11 in Penn Station. However, I have a better idea. The last time we met, we all met in the 34th street PATH station. Since we all know how to get there, this may be a better spot to get our little get together going. In order to facilitate this meeting, I am PMing all the involved parties with my cellular phone number.
I look forward to seeing you all. When I wake up later uh...today. I will take a peek at this thread again. Just in case.

Another late start, another photo finish. I'll entice people by posting some of the juicier details. Amusingly, the fate of SG-14 was the loser in the poll. Why? Because I said so, goddamnit, respect mah authoretay!
Several dozens of Jaffa died this night, though amazingly not the free Jaffa who got caught in a friendly fire incident (though it was a close call, grenades were almost used).
SG-17 was saved, more or less safe and sound. Strafing runs were made in an Al'Kesh. Hundreds of bullets were fired, grenades, and yes, even anti-tank rockets (Good god...).
As token reminders, Marcao left silver bullets at the sight of each battle, and as a grand finale, the ring room on a pyramid had a good 7kg of C4 left behind as a going away present as SG-14 made good their escape via Tel'Tac.
Next time, who knows?

I put the Jaffa body count at sixty, and that's being modest.

I am only carrying a side arm from now on. I never seem to be able to shoot the darn assault rifle anyway. I'll just pack more explosives on me next time which will most likely be radio activated claymores.
Oh and I am trying to upload the photos as fast as I can. It's tedious and I want to get some sleep but I'll try to finish them now. I recorded over a hundred images by the way. There were a couple (about 30) I deleted as they just sucked monkey balls in quality.
Ok, I finally finish uploading them up. I'm too tired to individualize them now so here's the album.

What a night, that grand... revelation about half way through the last transcript was just.... great
Virtually the entire night can be found here. I started renaming the files, but got lazy. Never the less, they are in order, we've got a solid 95 megs of us gaming. Enjoy
Also, good luck with your final Galkin.

By the way, since these things are semi-regular, Mission Reports will be requested (1 XP and 1 GP bonus) from all participants.
General mission synopsis:
SG-17 was overdue to report back to the SGC from a mission on P9X-253. Attempts to make contact through the MALP did not successfully raise the MALP, and telemetry from the MALP and a subsequent UAV flight revealed no signs of SG-17, Jaffa, or any locals.
A quick survey of the area revealed that SG-17 had been attacked near the gate, taken prisoner, and several hours before the arrival of SG-14, had been moved off planet by a mothership.
Investigating the landing pad, they discover a few key clues and tools, including the existance of a Free Jaffa network, and a cloaked Tel'tac. Upon opening the previously locked Hangar Bays, they attracted the attention of an Al'kesh that was waiting in orbit. One particularly bloody fight later, the team is one Al'kesh stronger. They check in with the SGC, and set course for the planet where SG-17 is supposed to have been taken for questioning, after quickly restocking gear and gaining additional provisions.
When they arrived in the new system, they managed to hide their Tel'tac from the Ha'tak's sensors, but the Al'kesh had to fly casual, but not too casual. On the way to the planet, a plan was formed (of sorts). The crew of the Al'kesh and the Tel'tac, save for Yang in the Al'kesh, would ring down to the pyramid and attempt to locate SG-17. Meanwhile, Yang used the Al'kesh to raise hell outside, doing strafing runs of the patrolling Jaffa on the surface.
Inside, the bulk of SG-14 tore through several Jaffa gaining access to the computer systems of the pyramid, locking down certain sections, and determining the location of SG-17.
During this, the Ha'tak in orbit had launched Death Gliders, forcing Yang to hurry up and join the others, who had hit a snag. The prisoners were being guarded. Quickly, they set up a cunning plan, shouting out requests for help in Goa'uld/Jaffa to get the guards away from the prisoners, stunning them, then freeing the prisoners. The sudden decision to stun rather than kill proved wise, as the Jaffa that were guarding the prisoners were the Rebel Jaffa that left information behind on P9X-253's pyramid. After a short scuffle, everything was smoothed over, and SG-14, SG-17, and the rebel Jaffa made their way to the ring transporter, which would hopefully ring them to the still-cloaked Tel'tac left in a holding pattern above the pyramid.
Yang, with Gliders about to close on his position, ringed down to the pyramid and set his Al'kesh on a crash course to a concentrated group of Jaffa, securing the ring room for the rest of the team.
Deep inside, the team had reached a bottleneck where Jaffa had managed to pile in. Many grenades were expended as well as bullets, but in the end, the Jaffa were dead, one even killed by one of the Rebel Jaffa. Finally, they met up with Yang in the ring room, dozens Jaffa hot on their tails. Using the LAWs they had brought with them, they decided to collapse the ceilings of the hallways leading to the gateroom. Then, the team filled the rubble-filled corridors with round after round of hot lead, covering the escape of SG-17 and the Rebel Jaffa into the Tel'tac above. Finally, using what remaining C4 they had left, they left behind a surprise for the Jaffa that might attempt to follow them. Once safely aboard the Tel'tac, they detonated 7kg of C4 (untamped), causing the general structural failure of the top of the pyramid. Cloaked, they managed to evade the death gliders and the Ha'tak in orbit and returned to a world on the gate network.
In all, a stellar first mission for SG-14, even if they didn't come out of it completely unscathed.
