Anyone here use MS Sharepoint?

Post by Faqa »

First off, my condolences....

Secondly, I'm working on a project where we're trying to rid ourselves of the horrid thing. Any tools(official or not) for extracting the documents stuck in the system? I'd REALLY rather not copy them all out manually, and I just can't find where the damn thing STORES them....

Fuck you, Sharepoint. But great thanks to any help.

Huh.
I use MS Sharepoint all the time.

For what my group does with it, its great. Don't know what your beef is - or which version you are using.
Plus, its free.

It stores the documents in the database.

Here is one way to extract them:

Good luck.

SP1.

It's inflexible, the interface stinks and our control is far too limited.

It's a quick way to set up a portal, I'll grant that.

Thanks!
