C'tan vs Great Old Ones

After reading the Necron codex and whimpering the whole way through about the blatant Lovecraft references, I've decided to post this.

OK, the most notable matchup here is Great Cthulhu vs The Deceiver...

Who wins?

Deceiver!

Cthulhu so far has only demnstarted the ability to minorly fuck up life on Earth, whereas the Deceiver has managed to trick hundreds of the Adeptus Mechanicus into becoming Necron/Human hybrids and cause a war raging across half the galaxy, which also helped to destroy the artifacts that could hut a C'Tan.

Plus, Necron Warriors are cooler than crazed cultists.

But if asked about the LOSER, it would be humanity, because both of them would be taking turns in fucking it over so bad it wouldn't be funny.

But the stars are not yet right for Cthulhu to return... Yet he still has influence. The Deceiver was buried away without any influence for millenia, just like Cthulhu until the stars were right.

Its gotta be close.

BTW Hastur is some shapeless demon who only appears when Aldebaran in the sky, right?

The void dragon is stated to be the most powerful. His necron warriors are more advanced than any others. It depends what you want done. They are most badass when working together.

IIRC thats from a dwarf article...exact wording..

IMO Nightbringer is the most badass of the C'tan, after all, he ate most of his fellow C'tan, and was the guy who fought most in the war, although he did get a little...sidetracked.
