I don't see where you guys are getting these super-powerful clone troopers from anyway. A Protoss Zealot can already take 133 rounds from a fairly poweful gun (hypersonic automatic rifle) before dying, so I doubt they're going to get killed in 2 blaster shots, when blasters haven't been shown to be significantly more powerful than a normal rifle.

Do they actually do this in the movie? I can't remember. Even then, they would still take quite a few shots to kill a zealot, especially since they move so fast, which combined with the moderately low accuracy of the blasters, would make them hard to hit. ICS. They have a sniper scope too. And the only reason to have a sniepr scope is if the bolts are stabilized for that distance. But considering that the weapons used were submachine gun equivalents, and that we have never seen a rifle class weapon being fired, and that storm troopers were able to hit their mark with snapshots, this should speak volumes about both stormie accuracy and the accuracy of their weapons.

a serious counter to Protoss Psi Users. Dark Archons are the
main problem here. SC has lots of "dirty" tricks - jedis are
needed to counter them. CT are waek willed and trained to
follow orders. You don't want to send that kind of troops
against a highly psi capable foe. The protoss will take over
the CT forced pretty quick when there is no jedi presented
at the battlefield.

I disagree witht he weak-willed thing. The fact that they are trained to follow orders, and thatw e never see them run away or break even amidst the hell on Geonosis indicates that they must have pretty hefty mental fortitude.
The major problem with Protoss Psi is Psi-Storm and the Hallucinations. Both of these will respectively hurt the clonetroopers badly and dissipate their firepower.
