Almost Heaven...
Nitram, slightly high on cough syrup: Do you know you're beautiful?
Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

In amidst the sadness, I feel I must just say, the fact that such a fuss is being made over a mere handful of deaths, is a testament to the American mining industry. If these deaths are considered newsworthy, and the goings-on of their corporate overlords is now under scrutiny, it can only mean that American mining standards are already wayyyy higher than those in most of the world. In China, or even my home country, this would be considered "business as usual"!
So while you grieve, be proud that you nevertheless already have high safety standards, which are only likely to become even higher due to the public outcry.
