If I listed every song, I'd be here for quite awhile, so I'll just name a couple artists...

Sepultura
Ministry
Slayer
Exodus
Static-X
Einherjer
Fear Factory
Pantera
Rob Zombie

Note: I don't actually listen to music while I'm gaming most of the time, because I need to be able to hear, and my killing music would turn into a funeral dirge.

Manowar all the way.
When going for pure man stuff there's no beating Manowar. Then there's this finnish band called Teräsbetoni roughly translated it means "Steel concrete"
It's a relatively new band but it kicks ass.

Iron Maidens number of the beast, trooper, aces high, 2 minutes to midnight and several others are also very worthy of the ass kicking title.

VNV Nations - Honor. If there's a song that screams "KICK ASS!!!" more than this one, I haven't found it.

Stand your ground, this is what we are fighting for
for our spirit and laws and ways
cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war,
for Heaven or Hell, we shall not wait.

Shall I think of honor as lies?
Or lament it's ancient, slow demise?
Shall I stand as a total stranger,
on this day, in this stone chamber?

Ahhhh......

Don't really have a "true" favorite, it kind of depends on the mood.
but one is Queen:"another one bites the dust (orginal, not the terrible remix)"
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

My list is very similar to Brother-Captain Gaius'.

However... when I truly desire to go on a rampage I loop Jimi Hendrix - Backward Experiment. For some reason it just spaces me out and the only thing I do is focus on my goal.

For some reason, watching Total War series carnage with "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" playing in the background works oddly well.

sometimes some love songs work when slauthering everything around you (because of the contrast of the events and the song(and no they're song I woul listen otherwise (when I do they come from TV/radio and don't care enough to switch channell or turn the device off)).

The only game I ever listen to non-in-game music is Total Annihilation, where Evenescence works oddly well for sending the Krogoths in.
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

I love to listen to these while I play games, or just when I feel like letting go.
I used to think that it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe. ~Marcus Cole, Babylon 5

The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were and ask "why not?" ~John F Kennedy Jr, 1963
