They can remember quite a lot; Dogs can remember someone who doesn't visit in months and months and months and then recall it when that person visits.

Daisy, a.k.a. "Princess", a.k.a. "Meh" (she's too lazy to fully meow). Most of my other pictures of her are pretty big, but I re-sized this one and threw it out for all to see.

She used to be a barn cat, but she's quite possibly the most people-friendly cat I've ever seen. She walks right up to total strangers looking for attention, and she seems to have bonded to me; she won't leave me alone!

I notice an abundance of cat pics in this thread. I heartily approve of course but I wonder if it is just a statistical abberation, if cats are simply the most popular pets, or if, this being a refuge for smart people, it merely reaffirms the theory that smart people are cat people.
