Look, with all this encouragement, I'm likely to keep on putting images on my wonderful website.

The more images, the merrier... and the higher quality, the better.
I'm a mere Paint Shop Pro 7 user. Wish I had a Mac with Photo Shop (or even better!).

Great! My efforts aren't completely going to waste...
I love all this "captioned" and "speech bubbled" image spoofery; I wouldn't be surprised, though, if I was laughing louder than you do!
Anyway, the site is constantly being added to (what awful grammar!), and is about to get another menu item (yes, Images Page 4!).
Glad someone likes my pictures!

I think a better caption would have been
"Left a bit, right a bit, easy on the acclerator. SHIT. FUCKING WOMEN DRIVERS"

I think the picture deserves a thread of its own (perhaps even a sticky? Mod?) entitled "Caption Competition", and the winner (judged by poll or by Moderator, or even by The Wong if he's not too busy) might be allowed a ranking of his/her own choice???
What do you think?

Why not? it's been done before.
Though I don't think Wong would judge it.. Laugh at the entries, yes, judge, no.

OK then, I propose that the image caption competition thread should be started as a new sticky thread...
...how can we get this set up?

You really are a sterling fellow.
There are probably a lot of Star Wars scenes which deserve alternative captions.
By the way, check my website again at http://www.rsjc.myby.co.uk/starwars/; there's more stuff there now (including a hit counter to show how many different people have visited!).

Thanks, you're too kind.
I mentioned something about a hit counter, but for some reason it does not work - stupid thing! Now I've got to do a server-side Perl program myself... Bah!
Anyway, I'll put some more pics on soon!

"Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this."
Thanks for your kind words.
I love the Fast Show, especially the two tailors in "Suits You"
Tailor 1: Good morning, sir. How are we today, sir?
Customer: Fine. You?
Tailor 1: Radiant, sir. Radiant.
[pause]
Tailor 1: Oh, that is a lovely suit, isn't it, sir?
Customer: Yes. Yes, it's nice, yes.
Tailor 1: Suits you, sir. Suit like that. Ooh! D'you want one off the peg, sir? Or d'you want one made up?
Customer: Well, I'm looking for something a bit smart - I'm starting a new job.
Tailor 1: Ooh! Congratulations, sir. Will you be having your own secretary, sir?
Customer: Yes! Yes, I think so.
Tailor 1: Will you be giving it to her, sir?
Customer: Sorry?
Tailor 1: Your secretary, sir. Will you be giving it to her, sir?
Customer: I-I'm not sure I understand.
Tailor 1: Would you like to try a different colour, sir? We have some excellent blue serge.
Customer: Yes, a blue - or, or a grey.
Tailor 1: Ooh, suits you, sir. Ooh! The ladies like a man in a suit, don't they, sir? Were you out with a lady last night, sir?
Customer: Yes, I was, as a matter of fact.
Tailor 1: Did she want it, sir?
Customer: I beg your pardon?
Tailor 1: The lady you were out with last night, sir - did she want it, sir? Ooh! Suits you, sir! Ooh!
[Customer makes a move to leave...]
Tailor 1: A-a-ah - arms! Sorry, sir - didn't mean a thing. Just trying to make conversation. Won't say another word.
[a very short pause, then...]
Tailor 1: This l-a-d-y you were out with last night, sir.
Customer: Y-e-s?
Tailor 1: Known her long?
Customer: Yes, about four years. She's my fiance.
Tailor 2: Does she want it, sir?
Customer: You WHAT?
Tailor 2: Your fiance, sir. Does she want it, sir? Is she a pale girl, sir? Doe-eyed, sir?
Tailor 1: Like a frightened deer in a woodland glade, sir? Cornered by the hounds? Ooh!
Tailor 2: Does she make this sort of noise, sir? Aah! Aah! Aah! Aah! Aah! Aah!
Customer: Goodbye!
Tailor 1: Does she look over her shoulder at you, sir? Like this - Aah!
Tailor 2: Suit you, sir!
Tailor 1: Suits you, sir!
Priceless!

All characters were great, but those two guys were probably the best. "Are you a buyer sir, or are you just here for a wank?"
I wonder if I should add some quotes from the show to my sig, like "This week I've been mostly wearing thongs." Probably not, since it's not that well-known show, at least not outside Europe.

Well, I can honestly recommend that you (and others like us) should visit the following website then.

Yeah, great stuff! It always makes me laugh (and so does Blackadder) no matter how many times I see it.
Oh, by the way, I've added a couple more pics to my Jolly Star Wars Pics website (see sig below), and also, some congratulations please for my promotion to Youngling

Those last pics are quite funny. I think my favorite pic is the one with Vader and Fett talking to each other about the past. LOL Keep up the good work.
