Trekdestroyer decided to flout our sig size rules by using the following gigantic 430x308 pixel image:

He has been around here long enough to know that we do not allow such huge sigs, and a sig of such large size is downright inconsiderate to boot.

Due to the fact that the board was immediately afflicted with his giant new sig, I pre-emptively removed his sig privileges. The Senate will now decide whether this was just the right action to take, or too harsh, or too lenient.

The poll stays open for 3 days. Vote!

That old one is 640x444: even more obnoxious. It is clear that he does not respect our sig size rules since he has been warned about this sort of thing before and yet he continues to do it.

Temp ban and permanant sig removal. The last time this happened, I singled him out in this Senate in a discussion about sig sizes and he sent a sniveling PM to me about how it wasn't fair I singled him out and it was totally an accident that he did it. Perhaps he'd like to send another one now to explain how this was ALSO an accident and it's totally unfair he's being picked upon.

Agreed with fgalkin and Lord Poe. He has no excuse to repeat this after doing it the first time. It's not perma-ban worthy, but a temp-ban for a repeated offense followed by revocation of sig priviledges sounds right on target.

I'd really like permaban, but that's a bit over the top. Temp ban + removal of sig priviledges until such time as we see fit to restore them, which possibly means never.

How long a temp ban?

Here's the thing - I support that and removal of sig privelages; this was asecond ofense and he knew damn well he was putting some huge retared ass anime pic in his sig. However, this is far, far less severe in my mind then the stunt Spanky dared to pull last year, and that only earned him a short temp ban and temporary loss of sig and avatar privelages. I really have a hard time giving TrekDestroyer a harsher punishemnt then that.

The only reason Spanky wasn't permbanned was because the offended party asked us not to do it. Otherwise, it was a perm-bannable offence. And Spanky also lost his minimodship over that, permanently.

I voted permanent removal of signature priviledges. I WARNED him before about sig pic sizes, even going so far as to put a warning IN HIS SIGNATURE. I would also like him to permanently lose all avatar priviledges and a temp-ban.

I concur. One warning is one more than anyone should need. The second instance is downright inconsiderate, and demonstrates a complete lack of respect for other users.

Whoever spoke up for him was a far kinder person than I would ever be. Although it could almost make me cry, thinkning we were that close to a Spanky-free zone. (No, I don't like him,. nor will I ever like him.) And I don't care if he knows it or not.

If we perma-ban him, then we can't mock him and beat up on him and humilate his sorry ass. Once the amusement value in making a complete ass out of him has expired, then we permaban him.

(Although I also think its a bit unfair to permban him and keep spanky, too. For the same offense, no less.)

Temp ban. He already knows not to do this as he was told to remove such a sig before. Either he's too stupid to remember, or just doesn't care. A temp ban might get him to mend his ways.
